  • Seriously where the hell is Moncada? What are we doing here? Why activate him like 4 days ago only to have 1 pinch hit opportunity? If he isn't ready to play everyday, what are we doing here?  I'

The Sox would need to start by hiring a Modern GM who was allowed to hire a modern day Manager, who in turn would hire capable 1B &3B & Hitting coaches. But the real problem is JR hiring

Vaughn and Abreu are trying very hard to carry this team

Jason and Gordon make watching unbearable. Especially jason

2 run game, so presumably that means Crick and Banks the next 4 innings.

Moncada needs to take a few lessons on how Abreu plays the game.

Yep, just like the good old early 2000s, except this team wasn’t expected to suck.

If they go 72-90, La Russa won’t get canned. He won’t get canned period.

Game over in the 3rd inning.

Truth. Sadly.

If Abreu performs as usual, what do you do with him?

He didn't get traded during years where the team was trying to lose games on purpose. He won't get traded even if they're sellers this year.

I saw somewhere that RHB are hitting over .300 against Giolito.

Do you bring him back?

I honestly don't know what to do with him if he's still performing.

Give Burger 3rd and lets see if he is really a big leaguer or not.

Not able to watch these 2 games from up North but its looking like our starting pitching just not getting it done.  This teams chances are toast if that continues.

Hope he takes a home town discount and is cool not playing every day?

I wouldn't but Jerry will probably make sure it happens. Even though I think Abreu will still rake, Vaughn taking over at 1B begins to solve a lot of the roster issues this team has.

I get why they had to with Cease and the off days, but this is also telling us that long layoffs aren’t the best way to keep his innings down.

Its definitely not bc it may now take him a start or 2 to get going again and I'm sure they will find a way to skip him again so it starts all over again.

There really is no need to mess with his innings unless he starts going 6 and 7 + a number of times.  Otherwise he will wind up naturally around 130-150 which is the sweet spot

Burger is looking pretty solid offensively

Gordon Beckham is a weird combination of goober, hockey douche wannabe and southern cuck

That wasn't a strike. So it goes for this team right now.

I think if they don’t make the playoffs this year larussa steps down. He will leave on his own . This is his year .

jose says thank you Ron

If that's the case he shouldn't come out for the 4th inning.

Looked inside corner on the Jays broadcast.  Could have gone either way IMO.

How quickly does Crick give these runs back?
