Graveman not getting Maldonado was grave as well, and Bregman and Tucker with stellar defense also killed the Sox last night. Oh well. I would have taken 1-1 at this point since the schedule came out. I think the mistake was just not rolling with Lambert in the 7th. He threw like 5 pitches. Was no need to use Graveman in a back to back at that point.

April 1, 20233 yr Graveman was not good last year; neither was Ruiz. And certainly not Diekman. One pitcher who was good was Tanner Banks (he's 31; they're effing around because of options?); so was Davis Martin.

April 1, 20233 yr glad we spent a big chunk of our “contention window” budget on a bunch of bum-ass relievers. ffs

See 2000 2003 2006 2008 2010 etc. Fwiw, Twins' pen has looked awesome so far..albeit against the Royals. Edited April 1, 20233 yr by caulfield12

April 2, 20233 yr I agree a few relief pitchers haven’t been sharp but it would be a big help if the offense could drive in those runners on base. If we win Sunday for. Series split I will be happy

April 2, 20233 yr JR keeps guys around years after their usefulness. Hahn and Williams should have both been cleared out 4 years ago! Edited April 2, 20233 yr by Soxfest
April 2, 20233 yr Do we un-fire him now that we are 2-2 vs the defending Champs? I'm not sure how this works, just looking for clarification.
April 2, 20233 yr I live that Moncada kid! Let’s sign him to a long term contract and money is no object
