Maybe TLR threw in the towel too soon in this game.  It was pretty early still in the game, and He let VV put the game out of reach.

Dont know if anyone mentioned this earlier but the 1st game of the season vs the Astros where we  gave up 13 runs and got rocked, Giolito started that game as well

Vince was a great pickup. Home for the fringe and injured. 

Since the allstar break, the Sox offense has averaged 1 XBH in the first 5 innings of the game.

I’m not here to dunk on the team for losing the last two. At least the boys are trying. I still believe that moves should have been made for next year instead of this year.

Just looked up the details of his contract to see if there is a chance he opts out for next season.

$10 mill player option or $5 mill buyout. He gets extra $1 mill added to the option at 400, 450, 500, 550, 600 plate appearances. I feel like there's a solid chance if/when that options gets to 450/500 PA. At that point, the option is $7-$8 mill. And who knows, maybe he gets to 550.
