That's the sound of James Fegan getting his locker room access cancelled.

January 31, 20233 yr I think we can change that F to an A ... sox signed Nate Mondou!!!! 27 year old in the A's organization who made it up to the majors for a week last year. That said, we know how impossible it was to make that A's roster. They were going for that World Series and just gridlock on the MLB roster with talent. We don't have to blab on about Jazz anymore. We have our second baseman for the next DECADE!

January 31, 20233 yr Another friendly reminder that Hahn has an “impressive” record of 700-818 as GM of our White Sox. Any GM with a career .461 winning % after 10 years ideally would be fired. Hell, he should have been fired after 2016. This organizations lack of accountability is inexcusable. Sox fans deserve better.

Brief scouting report from 2021 https://www.prospectslive.com/scoutingreports/jb-bukauskas Highlights include: "Violent operation that puts stress on Bukauskas' arm and shoulder." "he drops down and slings the ball from a low three quarters delivery with a heavy crossfire finish. This leads to continued issues with strike throwing as he'll consistently lose his release point." "the amount of action on his fastball leads to serious bouts with his command where he'll lose the zone entirely with the pitch." "He'll struggle to command [the slider], much like all of his pitches leading to less strikes than you'd like to see from a plus or better pitch." "Overall: Bukauskas is the perfect example of how great stuff only takes you so far. His command profile limits his ability to project long term in the rotation and leaves some doubt around his ultimate effectiveness in the pen."

January 31, 20233 yr The Sox "hope" to do well this season. Hope is not a strategy and rarely works out well for all concerned.

February 2, 20233 yr Seems to be an unsurprising omission there Edited February 2, 20233 yr by FourEyesShottenhoffer
February 2, 20233 yr No Cease, Cole, Woodruff, Nola, McClanahan or Castillo on either list. The number of pitchers you can make a deserving argument for goes like 30 deep.

The organization is a mess and when individual players do well they aren't recognized. Have seen the early schedules for national TV broadcasts from Fox, ESPN and MLB Network. No Sox games...none.
