Sox at Guards

Gotta say, the pitching was excellent today until Clevinger choked it up in the 9th.  Second time already this season he's blown a great pitching outing by losing 1-0.  Sox had 2 opportunities to score with no outs and squandered both.  It was all pitching today.  Would've been nice if the Sox had scored a couple.  Anyway, happy about the pitching except MC (again).

The game in general is a huge net positive, as let’s be honest, out of everyone on the field in a Sox jersey, the only one likely still here in 3 years is Smith.  He did great…but doesn’t mean we can’t bash the offense and Clevinger.

That's crazy. Too bad the commish has his head up his ass

Why crazy, their attendance will be a total joke and their television deal has been a flop.   You really think they will backfill the salary of Robert and Vaughn?

Ownership change needed. Just look how fast the commanders turned it around.

The Sox

The cowboys

The pirates just an example of bad ownership

I’ve already started hearing whispers about payroll getting slashed again.

Wouldn't that violate the minimum wage laws?  Maybe they could list the players as a tip salary

Can it really go any lower?  We are already in the bottom five teams in lowest payroll…

Nothing will change until there's new ownership. There is no light at the end of the tunnel.

Baseball needs an unluxury tax where owners are penalized for not spending 200 million.

Father time is undefeated.

It goes that way for fans as well.  Another WSox World Series in my lifetime.......probably not gonna happen. I fear JR will live to be 108 and still in control
