Found "What happened to Soxtalk" on Reddit and was reading through it before I realized that thread was over a year old, haha.

I remember that from last year. The site was down for a couple weeks, if I recall correctly.

It was for the big upgrade to the new forum software.  I think they went from like a decade old version of Invision to this one.  They did a good job maintaining the database and making sure they got it done right.  I used to admin  SQL databases shit is stressful.

What the fuck just happened?  I tried to log on after a meeting and thought Wheeler may have broken Soxtalk!

Me too but I immediately then go to MLB network. Their scrolling banner at the bottom of my screen would say BREAKING about any breaking news in baseball and it didn't so I knew it wasn't a big signing .

It's still not working on my iPhone. Can anyone help with this?

There was a DNS issue, which sometimes can take up to 24-48 hours to normalize.  I'd first recommend turning off and turning on.  Let me know if you still have the issue as of tomorrow.

I'd clear your mobile cache. It's kind of a pain but mobile browsers often heavily rely on cache and it can be annoying for stuff like this.

Just fwiw I'm dealing with same thing, just tried clearing cache and didn't work. Seems like dns hasn't made its way through yet. Very annoying.

Edit: It works on my mobile chrome but not safari. So weird.

Am I the only person who still can't get Soxtalk on their phone?  Heading out of town for a few days without a laptop, would be nice to be able to access the site.

Use chrome and it should work. Safari can be slow to shift dns.

If you request the desktop version in safari it works. Weird.
