  1. Truce. The playoffs are a reality now. The Sox are in it, we all just watched a young, fun team do something none of us could have truly predicted. Let’s bury grudges, arguments, resentment until the playoffs are over. That doesn’t mean don’t argue, that doesn’t mean put on a happy face about everything. That means things that have been going back and forth for 8 months stops until the playoffs are over. Forget what that person said in March, ignore the doom predictions made after the brewers series, and for gods sake let’s keep getz employed for a few more weeks. I’m not calling out anyone in specific, I am certainly guilty of both being incredibly pessimistic and bringing up old s%*#. It doesn’t have to be forever, let’s just enjoy the end of this summer ride into October and try to be a united front. Deal?
  2. Now let's get the division and BYE. Go Boston!
  3. Colson tried to poor beer on Sandlin but he whiffed…kidding
  4. I was going to post an animated gif of Cartman from South Park saying “FU Kyle” but I thought better of it and will instead agree to your terms.
  5. Surprised he could hold the cigar with his “shoulder injury”
  6. Good day for the Sox to clinch and take first place back.
  7. So gamethreads will be 1-2 pages long...check.
  8. That was hilarious. He's the dude who didn't show up for a group project bragging about how he got an A.
  9. We were first they are losers.
  10. I think so too but the Royals just kept it classy, just like the “Congratulations White Sox” on their big screen.
  11. Just a reminder that: White Sox could fail to score any more runs Royals could score 9 in the 8th Royals could score 10 in the 9th Royals could score 9 in the 9th Royals could score 8 in the 9th and 1 in the 10th Royals could score 11 in the 8th
  12. He's in the clubhouse ready to pop out of a cake.
  13. Entering 2026, the White Sox were given virtually zero chance to make the postseason: just 1.1% on FanGraphs and 0.8% on Baseball Prospectus. In over 20 years of public tracking (PECOTA since 2003, FanGraphs since 2014), no team has ever made the playoffs from a baseline that low. The previous record holders were the 2015 Texas Rangers (3.1%), followed by the 2008 Rays (3.8% on PECOTA), 2021 Giants (4.2% on PECOTA), and 2017 Twins (5.1% on FanGraphs). Coming off three straight 100-loss seasons, including an MLB-record 121 losses in 2024, and backed by an AL-leading 11 walk-off wins, you can certainly argue that this is probably the most miraculous team in modern baseball history.
  14. As my first request of unity, I ask everyone to find out which direction Boston is from them right now, and raise your middle finger in that direction
  15. I hope Boston gets swept by the Yankees
  16. They did. And not challenging final out was also a class act
  17. We as fans deserve this. To sit through 323 loses over the last 3 years, having to watch guys who are AAA players with no hope and to be here now is truly remarkable. Congrats to everyone here.
  18. Pretty remarkable accomplishment all things considered. And these guys absolutely deserve it with the way they've played. We've all seen terrible teams give the rah-rah speech in Spring Training, "I actually think we're going to surprise people this year" and they end up winning 68 games like everyone expected. These guys backed it up, and actually earned themselves a spot in the dance. Hopefully this is just the start.
  19. It's really hard for me to say this but . GO RED SOX!!
  20. SOUTHSIDE..... STAAAAAAAANNNNNDDDDD UPPPPPPPP
  21. Reminder that Reese McGuire could get a WS Ring if they won it all
  22. Chase with a heck of a season: 30 doubles 16 HRs 350 OBP So young players CAN come up and achieve on the biggest stage for the Sox, occasionally.
  23. Anyone who thinks sox won't at least get the wild card should kindly F off. We don't want your negative energy around here.
  24. Man the rate will be rocking tommorow
  25. Really nice montage of the season from CHSN
  26. Wish Schriffen was doing the game
  27. Good on the Royals for not challenging that
  28. We can all get a good nights sleep tonight, congrats to my White Sox who after my wife, my son and my parents have been the love of my life.
  29. OK , now I'm not just happy with the Wildcard, I want the Division as well!
  30. That 25-53 record on the road is deceiving
  31. It’s one thing to discuss doomsday scenarios, it’s a completely different thing to plaster the board with it
  32. It’s loser s%*#. Listing all the ways they could lose in as many threads as possible sucks. It’s not DNA, it’s pathetic
