  1. Strike outs are soooo boring. Jake whiffs. Overmatched.
  2. Sox win! Wonder if the Mets played their version of a Sunday lineup. Don't know what to say about the game. Just, win, baby and they did. So no complaints today.
  3. I wonder if the pathetic Sox would be .500 again if we had the old schedule of the last 10 years or so where we played Central teams 19 times a year. Most nights this year u get the feeling Sox are just overmatched talent wise. Although that doesn't explain Sox dominating Atlanta.
  4. No offense Tray, u are a good fan/poster, but did u really want to see Vaughn face Verlander? It woulda been a brutal set of at bats for Sox fans to witness. He's had enuf at bats to show us he is what he is ... mediocre at best. i will say when he does get a hit he often blisters the baseball, but rare he gets a hit.
  5. Gio's leg kick at the end of his delivery annoys me. He's just another guy who needs to change his total approach.
  6. That's all right. It already is abysmal. Gio one big lol.
  7. What a mean comment.
  8. It'd be in poor taste, but oddsmakers should let people bet on dates certain White Sox go on the disabled list. Man these guys are so brittle.
  9. Nice win today. Sox win a series vs a good team. Insane.
  10. Holy cow. Very surprised but will take it gladly. Big game Sunday (sort of). losing two of three on the road even to a great team is not the way to start the post all star break when u are buried.
  11. Robert is a good player but that strikeout was embarrassing. How can any pitcher throw him a pitch anywhere near the zone?
  12. I'm thinking the Braves have another homer in them before he gets removed at 104 pitches.
  13. Three innings, 67 pitches for lynn LOL
  14. I hate strikeouts. Nice at bat Colas.
  15. Lance Lynn is no Tom Seaver. He gives up a lot of home runs.
  16. Glad to see Sox are playing Colas every day. He should play every day case closed. And not just cause he got a hit there but I do like Remilard. He should play every day at 2B (over Elvis) for sure unless Sox acquire somebody. Remilard at least appears to try to play the game the right way IMO. p.s. i realize he's just another guy but I like him.
  17. Hard to believe anybody would pay to see the Sox play the rest of the season into next season. To be a Sox season ticket holder you just must love the ballpark experience. It's such bad baseball I can't imagine more than a few people in Chicago forking out money to watch Sox baseball. Maybe people have much more money than I do and it's no big deal to throw away $$ on the White Sox.
  18. The Sox really get boatraced when they play good teams. I despised playing the Central that often in the past, but it kept Tony at .500. These Central teams are at a different level than real teams. Braves, Rays, many others just rule the White Sox.
  19. Big Hurt really critical of the Sox on the postgame with Oz. He wants young guys who want to play (like Colas and the Reds young guys). The insinuation was most of these guys don't care. Not sure which Sox are culprits. I'd get rid of Timmy and Moncada for starters. You have to wonder if some of the guys look like they don't care (Tim, Eloy Robert) sometimes cause of our questionable medical staff. Sox are always getting hurt since that longtime trainer retired. Anyhow it was great to see Hurt and Ozzie ripping this gawd-awful team. Pedro and the hitting coach and pitching coach need to be the first to take a hike with Timmy and Moncada and Grandal though. I have no idea of these guys personalities but Burger and Vaughn "might" care they just seem overanxious sometimes. Sheets needs a change of scenery. The pitchers ... I wouldn't keep any of em cept liam and Cease. Need a new pitching coach and clean house. Teach Cease to stop walking people.
  20. Vaughn has 340 at bats this season. More than 50 RBIs. Not too shabby. Grandal with the lol double play. He is so awful. .250 hitter, little production RBi wise.
  21. Remember I predicted a 7-1 loss for Game one of this sure to be a bummer series. 7-0 or 7-1 still sounds about right.
  22. Fathom coulda drilled that pitch that Harris smoked for a 2B. What a hittable pitch.
  23. I sort of like Remi but what the heck was he doing? Why throw the bat when the pitch is close for sure? predictably next pitch they ring him up for being disrespectful to blue. Sad.
  24. As expected this series is gonna be ugly (capn obvious). Surprised it's only 4-0 although that's a decent lead for the Braves. Atlanta has won 5 divisional titles in a row; I always hoped the Sox could do that in the weak Central. i had major hopes of dominance after 05. But we didn't build on success; our team rested on laurels, Oz got cocky and all that and boom. We stink. Nice throw by Colas though. I liked.
