He's a short HS pitcher that throws 100 mph. The industry usually doesn't like those types. Fulmer was a college pitcher and the industry (outside of the Sox brass) didn't really like him either. Then add the HS vs college aspect on and go from there.

If the lead gets to a certain point, they could go to a 6 man rotation and stretch Kopech.

They wouldn't trade Ramirez to a division rival. If Ramirez is traded, it's probably to a team in the NL.

Vaughn might be a better hitter eventually but he also is limited to 1B and LF defensively, and the Sox already have players there. Eloy is already whining about DHing. The difference of control between Reynolds and Vaughn is only 1 year.

Have you seen how good Reynolds is? He's a switch hitter with 4.5 years of control that can play all 3 OF positions.

I'm at the point where I think I'd trade Vaughn for Reynolds just because of the positional fit.

Anderson is healthy, the other two guys aren't. Sheets and Burger are raking and would give Moncada and Abreu some valuable time off.

Moncada can probably play a more passable 2B than Burger.
