  1. The other teams should be forced to give the Sox players to avoid the embarrassment and make the league more competitive. The other teams should force the Sox to field a team they could possibly lose to. The other teams should force the Sox to spend more on players, which also will force them to spend more. The league should allow the Sox to have the first draft pick which the other teams pick for the Sox.
  2. Aren't there more people living in the suburbs than the city?
  3. This. There are no sugar daddies wanting to bankrupt themselves buying championships. The Rangers won a championship after moving to Arlington.
  4. Could it be that JR listens to the people that work for him and they told him they improved the offense?
  5. How about going back to a much shorter season. Maybe start in May. End the season in mid August and have expanded playoffs finishing in September.
  6. Or that being paid lots of money removes you from actually emotionally caring about playing well and winning. If you play bad, get injured, or lose, just count the money and post cool stuff online. Only dumb ass fans care about winning.

For the T Mo folks. Sign up for free MLB TV today.
  9. It's crazy to think how long we've been around.
  10. Who would have guessed we'd be .500 this late in the season?
  11. I love the promotional possibilities. Are they trying the price into total runs scored or payroll per game?
  12. I believe the question is "how many times can we f*** an employee over before they can leave?" and the answer keeps getting better for the players with every CBA. Eventually I hope they eliminate the draft, everyone is a free agent unless signed to a MLB contract for the season.
  13. There has to be a minor league deal for him somewhere
  14. This is easily the least looked forwarded to opening day in my life. But with low expectations comes the opportunity of fun
  15. Those early ones were heavy and really held the heat. Eventually they were basically waffle irons.
  16. Was the grill really great? Maybe the early ones but they really started cutting corners and making them cheap. Great boxer and seemed like a great human.
  17. Objectively the system is improved and the manager position has an upgrade. I'm thinking he's done better than I expected so a B.
  18. The one factor that always is a problem with rating a GM are the trades he turned down and the offers that other teams rejected. It's easy to say I would make this trade and believe it would have happened.
  19. Just wondering why we care that a urinal is sanitized? Asking for a friend.
  20. Ishbia and it isn't even close.
  21. It's always the second highest bidder that sets the price.
  22. Not so bold. Every time a Sox player is mentioned we'll think who? 🤔
  23. I believe that is an excellent example of an outlier. And based on over a hundred years of White Sox baseball we are much more likely to give than receive in that scenario.
