Alec Hansen a Reliever Now?
What a strange take. This guy is on record saying he wants to be at the top of our rotation. You wanna be the one to tell him this isn’t a free country and to start focusing on the 8th inning? ”Don’t ever get hurt or we are going to smash all your hopes and dreams and never give you a chance.”

Sox @ Orioles Gamethread, 4/22 6:05 CDT (Banuelos vs. Hess)
Why can’t delmonico learn 1B and be our first baseman for the next 10 years? Assuming his bat is the good Delmonico and not the shit Delmonico

4/15 Games
Lol are you the one who said it should be dragged out into the street n shot? Still laughing bout that weeks later. Everybody remember when Hawk forced Big Bertha and El Canon in the same weak. That was cringeworthy

Tax Day: Sox v. Royals (P: E. Santana)
Ooo good one. Im really surprised with the lack of Engel time. Thought he was their boy no matter what. Guess that’s Palkchez now.

Rick Hahn, Nick Hostetler, Jeremy Haber, and our minor league systems
Harper, Kimbrel & Corbin probably would have made us WS contenders as early as 2020. Robert Moncada Abreu Harper Jimenez TA Collins Anybody Madrigal thats the best offense in baseball. Why the EFF didn’t they sign that huge lefty bat that was available.

Isn’t Robert more exciting to everybody? That’s a given dude. What I’m saying is it’s super cool to be excited about everything. The lineup is already shaping up on the MLB team with Moncada, TA, Abreu & Jimenez looking plus. Add LuBob, Madrigal and even a Collins and it looks awesome. Scotty Pods only hit 20 some doubles every season and was lucky to OPS .700. He stole a shit ton of bags, got on base , wreaked havoc and scored runs. Now imagine he didn’t gobble up a corner outfield spot and played 2B instead. That’s a great player to have hitting 1 or 9 on an already powerful lineup. That’s Madrigal if he pans out. Everybody needs to chill out. We don’t want all sluggers. It’s okay to have different skill sets operating.

The idea of Madrigal is exciting. The Sox are about to be a monster.

4/13 Games
Talented? yes. Able to generate results? Nobody knew. That was the big mystery. Starting him in AA would have been way too risky and stupid. If he would have started off slow, all the reactionary-and-blame types on here would have crucified the FO for starting him in AA. So glad they made the right call 100% with regard to Robert. Looks like it might pay huge dividends.

4/13 Games
This is looking more and more like the case. Not a single person on here or in the Sox organization knew that going into this season though. What a pleasant surprise.

04/09/2019 Sox vs Rays
Predictable Total Dildo Comment Coming: ”Starting?! Hell I’ve been thinking that since 198X (or 199X or 20XX)! Where you been!”

Anderson's Opposite Field Hitting
Ehh. I, along with everyone involved in Major League Baseball and its entire history agrees with you- it’s beautiful and awesome and smart. Its just super hard for a lot of professional hitters and way easier said than done. It’s not a new thought whatsoever. Konerko threatened .400 when he finally figured it out and it was beautiful

4/6 Games
Yea I agree. I could see 5 guys or so launch their ways onto top 100 lists and a few others turn into top 20 guys. The SP depth does feel light. A powerful return of Hansen would really help but yea, another 2-3 guys and the Sox would be sitting pretty. Any sleeper starters on these teams?

Anybody else feel like this team is stacked waaaaay beyond what the pundits are saying?

Sox have had preliminary EXT talks with Dylan Cease, nothing imminent.
I think that’s just the initial thought anybody has when reading this. The Sox have to be operating a layer or two deeper than this. Think more along the lines of this: ”Dylan, we like you and your potential. You know anything can happen anytime to a pitcher so we’re offering you some life-changing money now that will secure your family and the next generations if invested wisely. In exchange we want some suuuuuper cheap years and added control. Think about it, no pressure.”

AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!!!
Agreed. If Kopech didn’t get hurt we mighta had a shot

JUST IMAGINE
It’s weird to think that if Eloy gets monstery, and Rodon, Lopez & Gio throw 32 starts a piece....this is actually a wildcard contender. Wait, what?
- Moncada

MADRIGAL MAGIC
Somebody said last time that this nickname should be dragged out into the street and shot. Still laughing bout that.

Eloy officially got paid
Lot to digest here.

Jussie Smollett/Chicago police nice work
Psssst. Over here. Hey bud. It could be that he’s rich and famous and getting away with something beyond ridiculous that’s pissing people off. Race has nothing to do with any of the outrage. It’s okay to not get triggered every once in a while. People aren’t half as terrible as you think.

Taxes
My CPA has his whole roll of clients filing extensions because some of the new stuff hasn’t been litigated. Anybody else experiencing that? The new tax code seems good for me. The raise to $.58 a mile alone is a windfall of a couple extra grand of bonus beans this year. Im going to be paying less this year for sure, but haven’t dove in too deep yet. Anybody else?

Ichiro is retiring
What a wonderful example of why OPS and SLG aren’t the right tools to judge Madrigal by. Hall of famer
