But two pitchers on the same team with that disparity does not equate to equal quality and worth. Q is lucky to bring back 75% of what Sale would.

But why eat a chunk of his salary at this point and then have to go out and find a less valuable closer who probably would eat up what you saved by dumping him. Jones did not pass the closer test the last time we needed a closer. Tough positions to be in right now

But his defense was bad so now he is trying to make it as a left-fielder but is hurt. Owens was # 2 and he is struggling in AAA. Castillo was #3 and can be had for a bat and ball if you pay his salary.

Stand pat. I think we need a new front office. So I would prefer that they do all the selling or buying w a new regime after the season.

I thought going in this was a 85-86 win team and they may be just that. But I posted a few weeks ago that I think Robin is gone after this season( his choice or not). Therefore, I would test drive Renteria as interim mgr. during meaningful games right now. Why not see if he is a viable candidate for the next manager? You also throw in Coop which may be another problem but the hitting is still awful. I would not make that change as well but after the season I think Steverson has to go.
