I have to believe this is the first lineup against RHP.

I don't hate Delmonico against RHP, along with Engel against LHP. We haven't seen Delmonico against RHP much lately.

I'm resigned to the idea that Madrigal is not going to start with the big club.

That's how I'm interpreting it too.  Interested to see how Delmonico handles RF.  The lineup could use a LH bat.

I can live with this lineup. I am still wondering why Eloy is batting 6th. By midseason I really hope Eloy moves up and Abreu moves down. Robert will have a ton of RBI opportunities with EE, Grandal and Jimenez in front of him.

Also, imagine having a lineup this deep that the ROY is batting 7th.

Abreu has earned it but if Eloy mashes even he will understand a move down.

Also, for those who haven't been paying attention, our World Series odds have skyrocketed in the last few weeks. We are typically between 20-1 to 25-1.

Honestly if the pitching staff is what they have shown the last week...it's not far fetched. Keuchel and Cease both look great and the bullpen seems to be in solid order. If Rodon and Lopez are above average, they have to get a wildcard spot at least.

We started out at 50:1, got as high as 25, and dropped off a bit once the Kopech news hit the wires.

Might not even miss Kopech if Cease and Lopez both are better than last year and if one of them is significantly better. Then there are wild cards coming off injury like Rodon, Lambert and Dunning. If the Sox end up jettisoning Herrera and Fulmer before the season starts or slightly after if they are ineffective and replace them with guys like Lambert, Dunning, Heuer. Would be a lot youth in the pen but it's decent depth in my eyes.

As of right now:

Bovada: 20-1

Bet Rivers: 24-1 (was 23-1 yesterday and 25-1 before we did dirty things to the Cubs)

Bet Rivers also has their physical sportsbook open. Might be a fun spot to watch the game Friday and a little safer than a bar.

He has looked solid in intrasquad games

I've seen enough in real games at the big league level to write him off personally.  He's a zero tool player.  If he wasn't left handed I'm not sure he'd even be on a 40 man.  His defense is shockingly bad for a guy with his profile at the plate.

FanDuel is at 33:1
