If your 40 man includes Pillar, Chavez, Shaw to along with Stassi and Maldonado, they’ll have the oldest roster in the division and they’ll have to cut a bunch of guys to get to 40, let alone 165. Maybe it will get them closer to 75 wins? Middle Buffalo Posted February 17 Share Posted February 17 I’m not thrilled about the talent level of most of the acquisitions this winter, but it feels like all these scrap heap additions are being made with professionalism as a major part of their skill set. We had a bad mix last year for whatever reason - lacking leadership and cohesiveness. Hopefully this reset of the clubhouse culture leads to some positive results. Maybe we catch lightning in a bottle with a few and have some trade fodder at the deadline. Or, dare I say, actually compete.
