Gonna be there all three. I get fired up for this series. I hate the Cubs. Our teams play the same sport--in the same league--in the same city. As far as I'm concerned if you grew up here and that

6:40 starts and the pitch clock means weeknight games end at like 9:15 now. 7:11 starts and no pitch clock, games ended close to 11 PM. Much prefer the current format. Now I have time to watch the gam

Like I said, walk him.

Why in the hell would you give that dude anything near the zone in that spot?

Hagen Smith can't locate anything. He was probably trying to throw out of the zone.

Pitching to him was certainly a choice

Damn thinking the whole time to walk PCA and set up a DP and they pitched to him.

That would have been the smart play. Stone was even trying to will it into existence. Venable didn’t listen.

Will veneble went stupid tonight and the home plate ump sucked!

bad game, ba-ba- bad, bad to the bone.

Get em tomorrow.

He’s horrible…it’s ridiculous he’s in the majors

So far each team has a blow out win and a walk off win on the season series. Let’s hope we get a repeat of last time and win the next 2 after dropping the first.

Hagen of the 94-95 reliever "fastball" and hanging spider.

Not ready for the big leagues.

Sox next Carson Fulmer.

Just a devasting loss.

Worse loss than the one vs the Reds last week

Brutal, the ump did us in, Rogers was a moron and Vargas cost us two stupid runs. Such a winnable game to let go of.

Tonight…… it’s been early and often all year

Just what has Hagen done to be someone you’d consider in close games?

I'd prefer Brazoban. They had him warming up then pulled him.

Is there any reason to not walk their best hitter. Oh yeah. The leftylefty matchup

I wonder if anyone has ever hit a leadoff home run and a walk-off how run in the same game before

I'm still pissed at Rogers not challenging that pitch to Bregman. He even fucking paused to think about it and did nothing about it. Then he challenged out of frustration on the next pitch that wasn't a strike. That changed the Bregman AB and also took us out of challenging the last pitch to Happ.

The Sox have to do better with challenges. It's costing us games.

Pretty much who they were left with to pitch wasn't he ? Couldve went with Brazoban I guess but I can't remember if he pitched the last 2 game or just the last one.

Did the umps and/or Venable have $$$ on that game???

Trying to gift wrap MVP for PCA???

I don't really have complaints with any of Will's decisions in this one. I think his only options were Hagen, Brazoban, and Fedde in the 10th. You needed to minimize the chance of contact. Hagen was the right dice roll IMO. Have to pitch to PCA because Hagen is too wild to give them a free runner. He walks righties way more than lefties. PCA sat slider and got one. Oh well.

Smith needs sent down he is not ready in any way, shape or form for a pennant race.

Just another game where the catcher kills the Sox. Has happened so much this year. He’s truly awful

He shouldn’t even be in the majors. He has no idea where the f*** the ball is going.

Perfect just give him the MVP now after this game.

Unbelievable.

Venable should be fired unless Taylor Hudson and Colson were all considered unavailable...

They were all unavailable

That was the first hit he’s surrendered. Threw yesterday as well. The patience around here is crazy short.
