Only logical conclusion: Manny is going to the pitching contest, plans on winning, then will take the free trip to Camelback Ranch and sign with the White Sox. Or maybe the Dodgers idk.

Manny could literally publicly attribute his decision to signing with the Sox to teorey23 and I would still not give his get ready post any credit.

I have this strange feeling that the Sox are going to sign both Harper and Machado. It really seems like the Sox and Phillies are the only two teams committed to making long term offers to these guys. Everyone else's interest is always qualified as "short term" or "at their price." It also seems like both players prefer the Sox over the Phillies if the offers are close. Finally, I think the Phillies' willingness to spend "stupid money" has been overblown. Otherwise, Patrick Corbin would be in camp with them right now and they probably already would have locked up one of the two stars. I also think their apparent caving on the price for Realmuto is a sign that they are not confident about signing either player. I know some people disagree with that but if I was about to commit $30 mil/per year to one player, I would be holding tight to my cost-controlled top prospects.

I dont think the news is that Rawlings is somehow in the know. It's that Manny has customized his gloves to Sox colors.

Here is an important opinion based on a quick image search (no other research necessary everyone) While in baltimore he wore a black and orange glove. When he went to the dodgers, he didn't keep black and orange, he had a classic leather glove. So he clearly wants to either wear the team colors or no colors and you can't convince me otherwise thanks bye.

The people in this thread that don't think the gloves mean anything are the same ones that would be freaking out if they were Phillies, Yankees, or Padres colors.

I said this a few pages back, but I'll say it again. 1. BetOnline is from Australia NOT VEGAS. Vegas cannot take that kind of prop bet. It is ILLEGAL. 2. Books don't post odds based on info (to an extent). They post odds based on where the money is coming in so that they can cover themselves. So, if the money is coming in on the Yankees (which it will b/c they're the yankees and everyone bets on the big boys), they're going to make the odds worse for the Yanks to entice bets being placed on the teams where they have less exposure.

Normally I would think this guy is just another rando, but the interesting thing is that he is a camera operator for NBC Sports Chicago.

You don’t make the birth of a child about a guy’s employer unless it has special meaning to the family. Same goes for the “305” on gloves. Even if it’s just for a year, it should be clear as day that Alonso, Jay, & Machado are pumped as fuck to play together. Manny’s desire to play for the White Sox is obvious IMO.

As a design professional with an expertise in branding...this glove IS a representation of the White Sox. Clear, simple no way around it. This is NOT yankees and if you peruse their instagram/twitter accounts, they have a navy blue they use for other teams and it would be clear.
