The swing change he's made is shocking. I don't know if I've seen a Sox player go from a slap hitting Madrigal type to a guy that is now selling out for massive power with a huge loading mechanism. Huge credit to the coaching staff and Gonzo.

So refreshing seeing not only the hitter but our hitting department take the proper steps to help develop someone when the league adjust.

Yankees are down a lot of projected, and WAR on paper the Rays are similar to Sox, granted Rays have a much longer history of turning low payroll into playoff contention, but go ahead and dream on a #1 seed why not.

It’s been so long since I really enjoyed a Sox team. Probably 2020. I despised that 2021 team even though they were winning.

Drafted at age 18 and signed before Oct birthday in 2024. Think that gets you five years so after 2028. Draft year counts as first. That’s just to be on 40 man. If he is not in majors by 2028 something has happened/gone wrong.

Sox play .500 ball finish 84-78. Goal right now has to be play .520 ball and win 88-90. We don't need a huge trade to do that, just make the highest margin moves with the pen and maybe a righty OF bat if it makes sense. We have a lot of guys peaking, that will regress, but with Mune back and Teel coming online, a smart move and the pitching coming from AAA we can contend for division and not sacrifice anything for the next 3-5 years.

Unfortunately for the O's, your first place Chicago White Sox have remembered how to win a series on the road! They are at a season high 6 games over .500 and 2 games up on CLE. Second time winning 3 straight series this season (SEA, KC, CHC in May). First series win vs. Baltimore since 2021. They finish their Mune-less June with a 13-12 record, securing back to back winning months after a .500 April. Nice job by Fedde and Schweitzer to preserve the pen. Dean Kremer likely being activated tomorrow for the O's, would be nice to finish the sweep and head to Cleveland with momentum.

That would be a terrible trade IMO. Why are we trading 6.5 years of a young controller infielder for 1/2 season of a good but not great SP making a fuckton of money? I definitely want Gray, but not at the price of Jacob.
