If there are no lineup improvements made between now and the start of the regular season, I think the White Sox win total will be 79. I think there's a likelihood that the Cubs will finish the season with a better record than the White Sox. Oy.

Never liked Benetti with his generic radio voice and style. Steve Stone is 75 years old. That's well passed the time for normal people to hang it up. Time for new announcers.

Unless they wet the bed in their six games against Minnesota, the White Sox have a decent chance of finishing in second. A second place finish would the consolation prize for their trainwreck of a season.

If the White Sox scored just 17 runs in the bottom of the ninth, they would have won the game!

In 137 career starts, Giolito has pitched 784 innings with a cumulative ERA of 4.36. Giolito is a #5 starter on a good team.

We can all agree that the White Sox will be fortunate to win one of the upcoming four games against Houston. Houston is a much better team. If the Sox get swept by Houston, they'll have to win at least 2/3 of their remaining games against Cleveland and Minnesota to have a post-season chance.
