Nothing about the Sox performance tonight was a surprise to me. They’re just not a good team. My main takeaway is that Cleveland is pretty damn impressive. Maybe they’re just on a little hot streak, or maybe it’s actually sustainable. Who knows? But they’re doing almost everything right. Watching them is basically the complete opposite of watching the Sox.

Boy am I looking forward to never having to watch the 2022 White Sox again. What an exhausting team to root for.

Cleveland is such a better team than the Sox in pretty much every facet. Crazy how fast that happened and how obvious it is.

Exciting stuff I tell ya

Which would mark the 700th time we are officially finished this year. I fully expect to lose the Cleveland game and sweep Detroit, while Cleveland loses their series vs Minnesota. There’s always time for one more letdown.

I’d be more excited if Cleveland didn’t have the ability to pick names out of a hat and have those guys go 6IP 1ER

They were due for a bad game. But also, this is what happens when you leave yourself no margin for error. A 4 game sweep on the road is really really hard. Maybe don’t get swept at home by the diamondbacks next time ?‍♂️

As it stands, Giolito is lined up to face McKenzie in the makeup game vs Cleveland on Thursday. Let’s uhhh not. Gotta rearrange things so Cease starts there. He’s currently slated to the start the day before vs the Rockies.

Honestly the broadcast fits the game pretty well in a we’re all half asleep sort of way.

First game I’m watching in about a month and a half. This is the offense I know.

How in the world are we still referring to it as “the” problem? TLR is A problem. The offensive approach is A problem. The list is goes on and on and on.

Imagine even trying to believe in this team.

I was at that game as a 10 year old. I will forever remember Lee Stevens, an otherwise pretty forgettable player, because of that.

I thought the sarcasm was obvious.

The unwavering confidence in this approach in the face of data, results, etc is pretty incredible. It’s like, here’s my pizza delivery business. Our policy is to punch every customer in the face before we hand them the pizza. That travel in June is something. In NY for 3, back home for 3, west coast for 6, back home for 6, back to the west coast for 6.

The roster should (should) look different next year, but man, it’s really hard to gauge what the easier parts of the schedule are because I truly have no idea who the team can beat.
