Nightengale: Gio won't be on 2024 White Sox
Yep, and in addition to the injuries and lack of depth, I am actually getting pretty tired of hearing about the potential and talent of the core guys. We've been hearing for a couple years now how good the team is "on paper" and how much talent they have. I'm at the point now where I think the talent has been overrated and/or the Sox just don't have the ability to harness that talent.

Opening up my mind to giving the season a clean slate
If they're not going to be a playoff team, I don't have much interest in them just being competitive. Hovering around .500 does nothing for me. Bring on total chaos instead.

Sneaking Hanser in at RP is pretty smooth.

5/4- Sox vs Twins, 1:10
Rushing hurt players back is just another repercussion of having no depth.

Jake Burger placed on the 10 Day IL with a strained left oblique. White Sox recalled Lenyn Sosa in corresponding move.
Sure, but there's always the option to just not speculate.

I see this list with my own eyes, yet I still believe that most of these guys are the same person.

Jerry’s gotta be proud of this one. Nothing like making this very important announcement after the Cards just finished up a 2-8 road trip

Sox explore immense depth of their 7th place AAA team, make 11 transactions
The second part of that tweet is pure gold. That's how you summarize the rebuild in one sentence.

GT 4/29: This ends tonight! White Sox vs. Rays - 6:10 CT
As much as I wouldn’t mind seeing this thing go to 10, I do feel that it ends tonight.

4/28 - Tampa Bay Rays @ Chicago White Sox 6:10 PM CDT, Reinsdorf TV and Berto Radio Network
I gotta say letting the starters play is pretty low on my list of complaints.

GT 4/27: Best Team in Baseball vs. 4th in the AL Central - 6:10 CT
I think they’ll manage to screw that up too. As someone else said in another thread, they can’t even lose in a notable way. I feel like they’re gonna start playing .500-ish ball very soon now that they’ve dug a hole they can’t get out of.

Moncada actually dealing with a back issue.
Pffft. He just doesn’t wanna play. Buncha posters on here would play through that injury. But seriously, that sounds not great.

The End of the Big Lie
It's insane, but consistent with their approach to everything. Just be stars. Just stay healthy. Just put DH's in the outfield and see what happens. Basically put in minimal effort then hope everything magically falls into place. All of their "plans" come off as some wack fan fiction nonsense.

4/26 Sox @ Toronto 12:07
But the clubhouse was s%*# last year too with both of those guys.

What is rock bottom for this FO? What what would need to happen for a shakeup at the top?
At the same time, it would be very White Sox of them to pull within a couple games of .500 and stay there the rest of the year, settling into the familiar mediocrity rather then the attention-grabbing bad that should be the preference at this point.

4/25- White Sox at Blue Jays, 6:07
“Good thing we’re in this division with all these chumps” says the team with the third worst record in baseball.

4/25- White Sox at Blue Jays, 6:07
Come on man. Fans all want the same thing, but we all handle it our own way. All anger should really be directed toward this absolute joke of an organization.

Five players you would keep to build around
This looks about right to me. Might swap Colas for Robert in the "entire system" scenario.

Fire Rick Hahn
I think that's very possible. I also think that the organization as a whole is so incompetent with player development that it's possible they actually would end up more successful with another organization. Ultimately, I imagine it's a little from column A and a little from column B. The FO overrated the players and the organization couldn't further develop them, so here we are.

Fire Rick Hahn
You somehow seem to be forgetting about the Menechino thread, the Fire Hahn thread, the criticism of the training staff/injuries, the overrated core, the lack of ability to develop players, etc. TLR was a huge problem and needed to go, but there was plenty of blame going around. I don’t get where all this “people said TLR was the only problem” stuff is coming from.
