I wanted Harper for several reasons (RF, power LH bat), but his “star power” was probably equal to anything he offered on the field. Simply making a non relevant team relevant nationally.

If a guy throws 6 pitches to get 3 outs, send him out for another inning - especially if he’s familiar with closing a game.

A few days ago I toyed with the idea of starting a “Whatever happened to…?” poster thread since this team is so abysmal. You were one of the names in my head. Ultimately, laziness won out, so no thread.

I opened up my MLB app to see what time the Sox play today, and they’ve already lost. This team is amazing.

I feel like the major issue with 95% of the roster is the Sox would be selling low. Nobody’s ever healthy long enough to have any real value. The exception is Cease.

To be fair, all I do I check in on most games on my free TMobile provide MLB.com package. If it’s a good game, I stick around. If not, I check out. I’m not a local anymore, so I don’t spend a dime on the team.

As much as I’m disappointed and down on this team, I won’t give up this early. I’m continually amazed at this team’s ability to come out of the gate slow and diminish any possible fan enthusiasm.
