I couldn't picture a bigger blunder than the Sox sitting in the draft room and saying "We have Roch as our #1 player, but where would he play based on our roster today? Guess we better take someone we think is worse." I don't think that's going to happen.

The majority of the same kids are there every season, along with some new ones. Its little league so its boundary based and the growth of the league has more to do with who lives in the area more than anything.

Brock Lesnar might be one of the greatest athletes of all time. A national championship wrestler in college, a mega star in the WWE, almost walked onto the Vikings after not playing organized football since high school which was almost 10 years earlier. That doesn't work out, so he goes eh ill just go win the heavyweight championship in UFC.

I've been coaching my son in little league for a decade now and I think I can recall 2 kids who also played soccer out of all that time. I've never had anyone miss for soccer, but in the fall people would be out due to football and basketball. Like I said earlier, the only people I know personally that have kids who played soccer was when they were like 5-8 years old, and then they move on to other sports once they start getting skills.

Soccer is the worst. I have heard for years and years about soccer's popularity and yet nothing has changed at all in the US. Nobody I know has kids that play soccer outside of when they are 5 and cant really play anything else. They all move on to play the actual popular sports in this country when they are able to. Soccer will never reign supreme in the US because the best athletes in this country aren't playing soccer and they never will.

I don't need to do much complaining about Jerry, there is an article posted in this thread with former players doing enough of it. You should check it out, maybe you'll realize that its not just posters on this site that think the organization has done/is doing a shitty job.

This is Sox related news that was literally published today, this is a Sox related message board. Get a grip people. People act like he went and dug up some months old story just to stir the pot. This team is 4 games over .500 with a negative run differential and they play in the worst division in baseball, in a terrible AL so far this year. Stop acting like this is some magical season that is being s%*# on.

I get sending Quero down, he's more important to the future of the organization so better to have him go down and get right with playing time instead of sitting on the bench at the MLB level. Better to let Romo hold that spot for now.

He hasn’t proven he can play at this level period. Can he one day? Maybe. He’s arguably the worst player on this roster, it’s laughable to see someone criticizing him get met with a snarky reply. Especially someone who was just bitching about the very thing they did a few posts earlier.
