Twins Up 5-0 Sept 15
I'd bet those teams that are hunting that final wild card spot wish they could play the Sox. No upsets there/

Not unusual for a bad player to do.

DVS hints at issues...
LOL! Not every organization has a naive GM. I only know of one for sure. If he got traded it will most likely be for someone far worse. But he is one of those players you don't want to see anymore. He's the new Leury.

DVS hints at issues...
Oh that's right. We are in the temper tantrum era of sports that if they don't destroy things or throw fits they don't care. OVAHRATED!!!!!!!!!!! How many HoF players in sports are know for this?

The I Don't See a Game Thread in the 7th Inning of a Game Game Thread Sox v. Twins
Political debates have more honesty than that. It's obvious players don't care to play for Grifol and the coaches.

That's what minor league managers do to A ball players to let the work out of it. Unfortunately this clueless organization is going to ruin any potential in young players. Lee needed more time in AAA after being injured. They probably already have him ruined. Plus younger players are exposed to coaches who couldn't work anywhere else.

Merkin teases possibility of a Clevinger reunion in 2024, Kopech in rotation next year as well
Consider the teams that are still hanging on that need a pitcher who has done well. There must be some quite insider stuff happening among execs that are not leaked to the public.

Cubs Thread 2023
The Cubs are trying the get that Sox stink off of him. His baseball stupid is still there, His base running helped them lose. I get the feeling in a season or two he will not remain in that organization, Cubs are into developing players not fixing bad ones.

Cubs Thread 2023
Only JR can create a fanbase where fans will watch the other side. Cubs are a good team to watch only because they exceeded 2023 expectations. If anything it makes the Cub haters jealous. I've been watching the Marlins and Dodgers. Once i finalize mt divorce from the Sox, it will be a West Coast team. The Dodgers/Sox facility is down the street. I don't have the overpriced cable package to watch the DBacks and they are blocked on MLB.

Padres Thread 2023
Interesting theory is you can have an all star lineup and a team still can't play together,

Sox 29-41 at home. Need to better tailor roster for GRF.
Doesn't every team? What organization would give that up? I only know of one that is naive and they don't have one.

9/13- Sox vs Royals, 6:40
Wait till next year the Sox will best that. 46-100 will also be the average attendance.
-
9/13- Sox vs Royals, 6:40
There's a lot of bad pitching this year.

9/13- Sox vs Royals, 6:40
None of the contenders bothered to put in a wavier claim.

9/13- Sox vs Royals, 6:40
They took Bummer out. Put in Kopech and so shall it be.
-
9/13- Sox vs Royals, 6:40
To be a Sox you need to bat LH and be really bad at baseball just as long as you bat LH.

9/13- Sox vs Royals, 6:40
Grifol will fix that.

Colas sent to AAA (again)
I could see that for those who loathed LaRussa. The reality is Pedro came from an organization that is bad at everything. He hasn't a clue of what a blueprint of consistent winning is. Getting someone from a large market or a far better organization than the Royals. The only thing one could've got excited about is it wasn't a former player, The decision making in this organization is going to suck in my lifetime. Jerry might be one of those guys who manages to live past 100. I know baseball is a business but you have to wonder what kind of emotional damage some of these players went through these 3 years. If Colas makes his way into a more reliable organization he will most likely be a better player.

Colas sent to AAA (again)
How often does sending a player down actually improve their fundamentals? I assume they were never addressed in the minors.
