White Sox Park Posted April 26, 2023 Share Posted April 26, 2023 When I was in high school, the Sox lost 95, 94, 106 games respectively . they were just really bad . Comiskey was mostly empty . maybe 2k on some days . but there were guys like Bill Melton, Carlos May, Ed Herrmann, Luis Aparicio, Tommy John, Wilbur Wood, and Ken Berry . some of my favorite all time players . the 2023 Sox are just not a likeable team . they seem totally lost, and dead in the water. 5 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Jake Burger is the only guy I really "like" on this team. Maybe Andrew Vaughn too. Those teams must have cost Tommy John a hall of fame induction because he could have easily picked up 12 more wins with better teams just from those three years. No way 300 wouldn’t get him in. The rebuilding teams at least were somewhat fun and we weren't expecting anything from them anyways. I was in 7th grade when the Sox were in the '59 World Series and broken hearted when they lost. Since then there have been some real bad teams and part of being this age is that I don't remember them, but I should be so lucky with these 2023 guys.
