In today’s edition of White Sox Fans Can’t Have Nice Things™️, this news…

Oh well, doesn't really matter honestly. Tightness in the calf is a two week injury at most. Hopefully the Sox lose every game he's out so hahn continues to be a naked emperor.

Well the Sox have the first 9 games on their side to probably make that happen minus their best hitter and run producer:

2nd Half:

@ Atlanta - 3 games

@ NY Mets - 3 games

@ Minnesota - 3 games

It’s hilarious he got injured in ASG and Yoan got hurt in the WBC

Jerry gets his $100M revenue sharing checks each year, doesn't care.

Actually you did warn against Robert doing the HRD as I remember your response:

If I had any say, I’d tell him to forget the HR Derby.
Right now he’s in a good place with his swing, timing and mechanics and the Derby could screw that up and with his history of injuries we might see a trip to the IL.
I’ll keep my fingers crossed.

Many got on you for saying that, but you were right and kudos to you. His swing, timing and mechanics were his best ever. He didn't need those stupid 50 swings like he would never be swinging in a real game.

Imagine if we were in first place, how everybody here would be screaming right now how dumb it was.

Thanks for posting my original remarks, I was too lazy to look it up.

It’s been a long time since I laughed this hard

We still want him to stay healthy and finish off a 150+ game season, right?

I would love for him to finally play more than 100 games in a season. This season is over though, so just get healthy and 100%.

Nah

When I suggested trading him- this is why.. He has not shown that he stay healthy consistently.

So sick of the HR derby it’s old and outdated. Stupid

Just saw him jogging

All you can do is laugh.

Only in the world of the White Sox!

I look forward to the OF of Eloy-Remillard-Sheets

Did Colas die?

In a related story,Eloy Jimenez injured himself watching the home run derby.

I forgot he was up here, much like the organization forgot about him in AAA.

So Eloy-Remillard-Colas....just need no balls hit to anywhere but RF.

While I can't take credit for its creation,  it's fantastic.

Did we buy 100 years of misery for 2005? I’m beginning to wonder.

HAHAHAHAHAHA. Of course.

How you feeling?
