Man im sorry, but turning Fedde, Kopech, and Pham into a disappointing young player and two 19 year old mediocre prospects is such a colossal failure. Im having a hard time even understanding why they would do this.

I don’t blame you guys for being upset. This is much lower than I thought they’d get even if it didn’t include top 100 guys.

Presumably the Sox are coming out way ahead in terms of money spent though, so if they spent a half mill to drop 10 mill in salary, they still saved money (this is not an endorsement of making salary-shedding deals, just doing some accounting)

The problem is we will never know what teams were offering.

If we knew that we could determine if GETZ truly s%*# the bed OR were teams just not willing to give up high prospects for Fedde.
