I have heard some small chatter about that. InterestingLove sam but if that's true, yea, take a seat for a minute rookie.

Some fans would rather see a contract 30-30-20-20-10-10 instead of 20 a year for six years to match the stats. With by spreading the payroll out you have more room early when the player is at his peak, plus future money is cheaper than today's money.

7 hours ago7 hr Gonna need some high tier work from Sandlin and the bats really need to come alive for more than just 1 inning moving forward.
7 hours ago7 hr Vasil threw off flat ground today, good step forward for him. We will need him next season.

InterestingHonestly, 2Deep, I don't think there was any insubordination involved, but rather a mistake on the crucial first couple of steps of the fielding route. I would be surprised if that one play is the reason Sam hasn't started. I'm a little partial, but I do hope he'll eventually get in there tonight and do something awesome-- and I hope that for ALL the guys!!

This is not a vet group. These games are priceless for getting them all experience in a pennant race.
6 hours ago6 hr I wish I could watch these games on tv but for the last couple weeks ive found it spiking my blood pressure to watch the boys. Any tips on enjoying these games? Its just a sport I know

Sam took a gamble - he wanted to get a jump on what he thought would be a ball hit in the gap. Rocchio saw where he was playing and dumped a fly ball toward the line. I like Sam from the moment I saw him play in the WBC, but he needs to be reigned in a bit with certain overly-aggressive or foolish moves - like throwing his elbow out at players on the bases. He reminds me a bit of how Pete Rose played, all-out all the time.

That's all instincts and practice. He's a middle infielder learning LF and this is what happens.

Green Line, sometimes if I'm watching on CHSN, I'll mute the volume completely and just watch in silence, as the commentary and side-stories can get to be a little much at times. Once in a while the games will be broadcast on the local AM sports radio station, and I'll opt to just catch a game that way, like I used to do with my transistor radio in the old days, and just leave the TV off. Both options seem less stressful.

They could have paid Machado or Harper and were apparently close on Machado. Other than reportedly being in on Machado, they haven't been "in" on major free agents. I think it's less about the dollars and more about the length of contracts. And Wheeler. And an offer for that Japanese pitcher who signed with the Yankees and was pretty good but not elite. And ARod.But that's worth next to zero to fans.Is there an "almost" banner?
