Sox doing this series like they did the division

Remember Colson’s stupid comment about not making adjustments because he is who he is? If he doesn’t change that mindset he’s going to be out of baseball in a hurry. He’s not a major league hitter right now. Hasn’t been for a while.

Let him be some other team’s issue

Yeah was dumb as s%*#. If Chase is playing back, you at least get one out. Maybe 2.

I get it if it's the 8th. But top of 6 is to early.

would rather have seen Sandlin than fucking Anthony Kay

Then you don’t use him in a situation like that…even more of a reason to stick with Hicks for another inning

Ramirez homer freaked everyone out

it's what he does...normally

just the hamate is the worst injury for a hitter to battle back from in season

Could've seen this a mile away. So stupid starting Kay this inning and bringing in an absolutely gassed Taylor for what, r innings?? And screw Getz for this garbage pitching staff.

We've been saying it all season, Sox don't have the arms to compete vs the big dogs. I don't doubt Sox can still take game 5 in Cleveland if Burke is on (big if) but we can't hang with LA, MIL nor TB.

4 runs is enough for those teams, not for ours. They were low scoring ball games, our patchwork BP BS isn't sustainable when no one can give you 5 or 6 quality innings.

If you mean the Sox, I couldn’t disagree more. The team is just completely out of gas. Played their ass off all year.

I have no delusions that these guys were gonna make it to a World Series, but going up 2-0 on Cleveland only to get embarrassed at home is really disappointing. Hopefully they got one more win in them on Saturday.

if you enjoy being kicked in the balls, this is the team for you

Let’s go - this is going to be fun when they grind back and win!!! I believe in the power of Heads and I know he’s smiling up there watching this Sox season!

Gotta think they wanted a lefty for Lowe and Martinez.

Looks like someone stopped at the dispensary tonight.

Man f*** this s%*# just come back and win.

Game 5 here we come

Getz really blew it bringing in Castillo. With the money involved he should have been able to get a good starter instead. We would have been better off standing pat and have Seranthony as another reliever and keep our prospects and money.

Funny that Jerry doesn't believe in giving good pitchers big contracts but doesn't seem to mind taking on terrible contracts of washed up pitchers like Shields and Castillo.

That's an awful lot of confidence in Cholowsky.

Better be right this time.

It seems Murakami has at least redeemed himself down the stretch...so there's that at least.

Teams are simply learning not to let Vargas beat them.

I'm with you. Bring the corners in. It's the 6th inning. Don't lose it in the 6th. So you are down 1 run instead of 5. You have 4 more innings to hit.

Bringing the infield in , also most likely took the double play away, with one out that would have taken us out of the inning. Will over managing again. Will has been the Guardians MVP these last 2 games.

I don’t think there’s any combination of pitchers Venable could have used today that would have been effective

Seems they thought they could do with Castillo what the Rays did with Peralta or the Braves with Mahle, sometimes a guy really is one tweak away.

Now they have to hope they find that tweak in the offseason.
