He may not get another MLB contract in all honesty. I am glad the Sox didn't extend him.

Mune is a bust and Carlson has turned to dust. This rebuild now needs another coat of paint and a much savvier manager.

5 plays that killed the Sox and 5 managerial decisions that hurt:

1- Meidroth striking out in game 3

2- BMontgomery not catching double in game 4

3 - Mune striking out bases loaded game 5

4- BMontgomery striking out in game 4 with bases loaded

5- Vargas lining out in game 3 with bases loaded

Decisions:

1- going with Hudson in game 3

2- playing Benintendi in game 5

3- going to Kay in game 4 up 1

4- keeping Acuna on postseason roster

5- pulling Newcomb in game 3

Teel lining out into that double play should probably be in there too.

Mune is not a bust

We will see. Guy can't hit even mediocre fastballs. Why?

LOL, some things are not meant to be to be

He obviously is not now and he never will be a MLB star. He will never be anything above mediocre at best. However he could be a star once again in Japan unless having played in the MLB has scarred his hitting abilities for life. The League caught up to him and he hasn’t turned the tables back around because he not good enough and that something other teams saw in him and its why they passed on him when he was seeking out teams to bid on him. That why the Sox were able to get him. All the good teams passed on him,

Carlson has turned to dust? Bro that totally sucks.

Hopefully they read this during their offseason: f*** you you chokers

Will always be left wondering what would’ve happened if we’d just given Fedde the start (or “bulk”) he clearly earned in game 3 instead of getting cute again. I believe a normal Fedde/Newcomb game 3 could’ve slammed the door on this series.

And the manager and coaches did nothing about, the game plan was to swing as hard as possible.

65% of their outs the last 3 games were by strikeout. You basically give yourself no chance to win in the playoffs if you can't put the ball in play Today it was nearly 80% of their outs in a game that the pitching definitely did enough to win.

Haven’t you heard that a K is just another out.

I was against the Venable signing from day 1, the guy is still on OJT.

Then unless he goes back to Japan, you have figure out a way to maximize his value in trade.

JR isn't going to just write off $17 million.

No to mention he Vargas and Grichuk were the only ones with an OPS over 800 and he's by far their #1 jersey seller.

Building the team around Peters Meidroth Vargas Teel and Antonacci (Grichuk too)...then expecting repeats from guys like Newcomb Fedde Hicks Burke Taylor, well that just wont ever go the way you think it will.

Giving up on Carlson Colson Braden Mune and Benintendi...is borderline crazy or insane.

Not to mention Castillo Kay Hudson Brazobust Martin, etc.

Anyone who has ever traded stocks or even sports collectibles or fantasy players before will point out exactly why.

Shapiro didn’t strikeout for the Sox a hundred times.

Should I know who Ben Shapiro is and why he matters?

You absolutely luck into that with a team most of the MLB hasn't seen. Once the league figured the White Sox out, what happened? I literally called every single pitch in the Mune bases loaded at bat, and he struck out anyway. The organization is fucking clueless, as usual.

The league adjusted to their hitters the second half and the results were pathetic. Especially down the stretch in games that mattered. Cleveland knew exactly how to attack every player on the White Sox and absolutely embarrassed them.

The excuse is that this organization fucking sucks. Let me be clear, I don't blame the players for this. I blame the White Sox. Cleveland pitchers WEREN'T EVEN THROWING STRIKES. The fact that these fucking guys just kept going up there embarrassing themselves swinging at absolute garbage is on the coaching staff. The Meidroth at bat was the defining moment of this series. Guy can't throw a strike and you strike out swigning at pitches a foot outside the zone???

The White Sox struck out 75 times this series. They probably could have walked 40 of those times just standing there. It was that bad.

105 wRC+ in first half.

105 wRC+ in second half.

Amazing job by the league to figure out the white Sox.

I’ll make it simple. No.

Meidroth took a swing last night that if he hadn't taken the swing would have hit him in the head.

I really would like to hear what Will or someone from the org has to say about this. Someone should ask them about how or why all these strikeouts all of a sudden happened. We all can speculate but I’d love to hear it from the horse’s mouth.

Between this and the Spirit Halloween post, I hope the Guardians get thrashed.

They're such losers at heart.

White Sox won with class. They don't. They'll get swept by the Rays.

I think the pressure got to them. They led the AL in walks this year. Fine with K's as long as it's supplemented by walks.

You know we led the AL in walks this year. Sorry these facts don't fit your narrative.
