The Sox home run bats won a lot of games in the Cell the past many seasons, in some instances making up for the porous defense and lousy bullpen. How many times in the past did sox teams have to wait to hit 2 or 3 run homers in order to have any offense. The issue with this team is guys aren't getting on base or when they finally do the hitters rolling over on pitches or strike out. What this team needs clutch hitting which they are hardly getting.
