He had a 10 ERA in Charlotte and was topping out at like 91. No one screwed him over.12 points

Actually, it's very easy to argue with Thor. The guy who wrote the article made it clear that Thor had nothing really to complain about. He wanted a chance back in MLB; the article said only the White Sox would give him one. It was a long-shot chance and both sides knew that. Thor was given his chance and he was terrible. The White Sox paid him for his time and released him. Again, the article makes it clear he wasn't shafted at all. Now to your comment: What does Clevenger have to do with any of Thor's complaint or issue? The Sox continue to employ a whole lot of pitchers who are not Thor. Your point makes no sense at all.6 points

Getz losing trades is becoming a meme at this point He didn't even trade Robert and still lost that one6 points

Very confused how a guy being terrible and whining about it can be turned into an anti Getz rant but you found a way.5 points
-
Shafted would be him performing well, not getting called up when the need arose, and the Sox not letting him seek opportunity elsewhere. But none of that happened. He sucked, and even admits it. Total non-story.5 points

Had stuff to do saw the Sox were losing 2-1 maybe 3-1 and Twinkies had the bases loaded and no outs. A little time goes by I looked at the score and it was 7-3 Sox. 1st thought in my head was they made a mistake so I scroll down to the highlights and I see Teel and Sosa go back to back and everybody driving in runs ! Ramos, Robertson, Baldwin, Beni, hold the phone Another Beni 3 run bomb makes it 12-3 !4 points

definitely do not google "mad dog pounding twinks". I think I'm on a list now.4 points

Mike Clevinger is still employed. It's clown shoes throughout and led by Getz. It's impossible to think Thor has anything left, but he might be just saying why is Clevinger here and I'm not?4 points

Barons drop a close one late, 4-3. But Gowens was nice with 5 scoreless, and BMont legged out his first AA triple3 points

Beni loves hitting after we s%*# talk him!3 points

Dash win 1-0 behind that first inning shot from Perez and some great pitching. Ziehl (Slater return) went 5 scoreless with 1 hit. Phil Fox got a 2 inning save. He's had a really solid first year, mostly pitching leverage innings. 3.14 ERA/0.96 WHIP over 57.1IP with 71 Ks to just 13 walks.3 points

Looking at his numbers, Mr “I’m right about every take I’ve ever had” is definitely wrong about wanting James Outman a few years ago.3 points

Basically impossible to sustain that power he's shown the past month and a half. Needs to start walking more too.3 points

He probably pushed all in on the Twins when they were talking about hiring Getz away from the White Sox. When they didn't, he went with the stronger horse. 😉2 points

Jeez mocking me out of the blue for no reason whatsoever. Boss man says that's delete post worthy. Dou t it will happen nor would I want it. Never said I am fallible just right a lot more than a lot of angry people here. I like him before he had the 4 WAR season. Its right there in black and white multiple times. How many guys have you picked out who ever did that with no previous indication it would happen ? Kind of sad you'd choose to personally attack me like that in a winning game thread. Why pollute a good environment ?2 points

Korey Lee can close out this game. The universe refuses to let Clevinger be called up.2 points

He says he doesn't want to leave and has a NTC.2 points

2 guys trash-talked in this thread hit homers right after. Maybe we really do need more negativity.2 points

Doesn't he have an agent to tell him these things? Like that there's a bunch of competition? What was he expecting? Like, bro, could've googled "white sox organization pitchers". Of course, anyone is better than Clevinger, but performance wise, Syndergaard isn't and the Sox obviously don't care that Clev is a scoundrel.2 points

Right now the Sox are in no position to trade young talented hitters. They traded Semien because he couldnt field either. Sosa can reach a higher offensive upside. Let the young guys play and reach something like a career year before you consider trading them. Of course then you want to keep them but keep the minor league talent flowing in if he's still not in the OF or a better infielder.2 points

I’d make that all major decisions. I don’t think JR cares about which bullpen bozo just got sent down. Even healthy cynicism has limits.1 point

I'm pretty sure that was a movie about 15 years ago1 point

What's not to like? Nasty stuff backed up by a 2 ERA. I don't think the expectation was that he would start, but looks like a solid reliever. I think the Ks will trend upward.1 point

Almost feels criminal that that wasn't a homer1 point

Controllable, 104 ERA+ starter might get ya something. Probably not a whole lot. Don't see where he fits here.1 point

I think it should be illegal (except on the rez) but man, this was just free money.1 point

Reading the full quote, it sounds like he doesn't even believe what he is saying.1 point

Congrats on your over bet winnings everyone. Unfortunately i went for a bit more I had $25 on Meidroth and Baldwin on RoY too, shoulda went with Colson tho.1 point
