The Sox should sign him. That's it. That's the thread.6 points

Caleb is the real deal and people should stop pretending he isn't. All those damn drops and he still willed this team to victory.3 points

One of the ugliest wins this season but counts the same as the rest. 6-3, have to go into Minnesota ready for that defense to come after them next week, and can’t let McCarthy run wild2 points

I mean, even last year, he put them in a position to win a lot of games at the end. He has that “clutch” gene, whatever that is.2 points

Someone convince Caleb that they're down with two minutes left the entire game.2 points

Zaccheus having a dreadful game. Time to get Burden more involved if this is what the vet is providing2 points

You are a White Sox fan, so it is probably more like a -1 WAR 37 year old 2B who will play 1B poorly.2 points

The Sox are their own self fulfilling prophecy ("We aren't ready to compete so we can't spend money!") You aren't ready to compete because you refuse to spend money, you gaslighting fucks2 points

After hearing what Getz said the other day its obvious the White Sox are not going to spend any money on free agents this off season. This team would be so much better signing Schwaber and Naylor. This ownership is content with losing AND A LOW PAYROLL. This is really a bad situation and if JR had any decency he would sell the team now or turn over running the team to the new owner.2 points

The life of a Sox fan — having to hear offseason news about which cheap veteran scrubs your team is interested in.2 points

One of these days everything will quit being someone else's fault. Probably the day they fire Getz.2 points

You'd have a hard time convincing me Schwarber is the best use of whatever funds they may have available. This team is 2 years away from being 2 years away. Schwarber is going to be massively overpaid to DH, we need to spend Schwarber level money to just fill the roster with replacement level players that actually belong on a MLB roster.1 point

The touchdown drop was awful but that last drop across the middle of the field was even worse. That was a possible touchdown too, nothing but green grass in front of him and it hit him in stride1 point

The hilarious part is that Caleb had him dead in his vision as he escaped on his touchdown run and was like f*** that, I will do it myself.1 point

Wow. The bears have not played well but their luck late in games definitely seems to be on their side this year.1 point

Sox should have signed him before he went to the Nats or Phillies. Now? No shot.1 point

Can't wait to have Schwarber, Ohtani, Harper, big dumper on the Sox when they are all 45 years old.1 point

No, the dark side is realizing this didn't just start.1 point

Jerry should sell the team now, not in 2029, so that this statement isn't total fantasy.1 point

I don't think they are losing on purpose but they want to have a payroll as low as possible. Unfortunately, that really means the losses will keep mounting up.1 point

St. Charles North won so it will be them. I don’t really know anything about them but MaxPreps has them ranked 33rd in Illinois. I would love to see BR face Rita in a state championship. They are not as good this year as they usually are and just eked out their two playoff wins so far. BR beat them 24-10 earlier this season.1 point

Exactly. It wasn’t too long ago Rick Hahn was the guy with all the correct answers and everything bad was someone else’s fault. Now no team will touch him.1 point

https://allchgo.com/royal-blood-why-heavy-kansas-city-presence-is-to-be-expected-and-good-for-white-sox-under-chris-getz/ I think it was also Grifol and then at least four or five initial spring invite players with KC ties like N.Lopez Maldonado Michael A. Taylor (later) Moustakas and Brett Phillips. A reliever or two in there as well. Mitch Keller, for example...who blossomed eventually for the wrong Chicago team.1 point

I doubt baseball fans get giddy over coaching hires. My issue is collecting ex Royals - habitual losers.1 point

Jacobs plays in one of the better conferences in the state. Just about all of the teams play really good football.1 point

NYG were a 3rd down sack away from being able to run the clock. Got outplayed for 53 minutes and still won. Enjoy it while it lasts.0 points
