The rule that limits pick-off attempts to two should be changed, IMO, but anyway, it seems the WSox didn't work on holding runners on. McGuire was a terrible signing. He doesn't fit in with this team and, as noted, has some sexual / mental issues that led to an arrest for indecent exposure. Getz is out of control making foolish transactions and should be fired. Too many bad moves and multiple signings of substandard talent. The prime years of our best players (Mune, Colson, Teel) are being wasted by being on a perennial last place team with substandard players and pitchers.

Apparently Vargas borrowed Mune's glove to play 1B today. Since he hit a slam today and Mune hit HRs in the previous 3...we should be able to get at least 162 HR of production from 1B by simply giving The Glove to the starter there?

The Dodgers literally play guys all over the place. Look at where Mookie Betts has played since joining their organization. We are four games into the season and Venable was looking for a way to get another LH bat into the lineup. If this continues at this pace through May, let’s talk more then. Otherwise, people are overreacting to an incredibly meaningless sample.

Every smart organization does this but for some reason the Sox are stupid when they do it. And Colson will be playing 3B less when Teel & Baldwin are back and they more left-handers available. While Peters may not be much, it’s refreshing to have a manager who is aware of platoon splits.

He’s been good there though, why not let him show you he can’t play there? I don't think there is any downside to maximizing Colson's (or basically any other players) positional versatility.

I'll criticize this organization for pretty much anything but mixing Colson in at 3B is fine. If he doesn't outgrow SS one of Carlson or Cholowsky will push him off the position in the future anyway.

Why should they be 1-2? They didn't lose a game 4-3 because an unlucky bounce allowed 2 runs to score. When you're leading 7-3 in the 8th inning and lose the game, you earned it.

I was living in a suspended state where I just handed off my opinions to some national writers saying the sox had a productive offseason, but when that opening day roster came out and I was hit with the atrocious starting rotation, the bullpen without vasil, and that 'outfield' I realized that the sox are just trying to do everything in their power to kill baseball for us. Opening weekend was sickening. Can you imagine if we didn't get murakami?
