  1. TIL your dad has like 10 different soxtalk accounts.
  2. I’m excited for Gio to rid himself of this trash organization. Pretty easy guy to root for.
  3. Yep, and in addition to the injuries and lack of depth, I am actually getting pretty tired of hearing about the potential and talent of the core guys. We've been hearing for a couple years now how good the team is "on paper" and how much talent they have. I'm at the point now where I think the talent has been overrated and/or the Sox just don't have the ability to harness that talent.
  4. If they're not going to be a playoff team, I don't have much interest in them just being competitive. Hovering around .500 does nothing for me. Bring on total chaos instead.
  5. Sneaking Hanser in at RP is pretty smooth.
  6. “Well I wear a 7 1/4, but I’m just a huge 7 5/8 fan.”
  7. Rushing hurt players back is just another repercussion of having no depth.
  8. The ol' Silver and Black Pack days.
  9. I see this list with my own eyes, yet I still believe that most of these guys are the same person.
  10. Jerry’s gotta be proud of this one. Nothing like making this very important announcement after the Cards just finished up a 2-8 road trip
  11. The second part of that tweet is pure gold. That's how you summarize the rebuild in one sentence.
  12. Good guy Jose showing solidarity with his former team by having a terrible year.
  13. Extend Hahn
  14. As much as I wouldn’t mind seeing this thing go to 10, I do feel that it ends tonight.
  15. I gotta say letting the starters play is pretty low on my list of complaints.
  16. I think they’ll manage to screw that up too. As someone else said in another thread, they can’t even lose in a notable way. I feel like they’re gonna start playing .500-ish ball very soon now that they’ve dug a hole they can’t get out of.
  17. Pffft. He just doesn’t wanna play. Buncha posters on here would play through that injury. But seriously, that sounds not great.
  18. It's insane, but consistent with their approach to everything. Just be stars. Just stay healthy. Just put DH's in the outfield and see what happens. Basically put in minimal effort then hope everything magically falls into place. All of their "plans" come off as some wack fan fiction nonsense.
  19. But the clubhouse was s%*# last year too with both of those guys.
  20. At the same time, it would be very White Sox of them to pull within a couple games of .500 and stay there the rest of the year, settling into the familiar mediocrity rather then the attention-grabbing bad that should be the preference at this point.
  21. “Good thing we’re in this division with all these chumps” says the team with the third worst record in baseball.
  22. Come on man. Fans all want the same thing, but we all handle it our own way. All anger should really be directed toward this absolute joke of an organization.
  23. This looks about right to me. Might swap Colas for Robert in the "entire system" scenario.
