My Dad had quarter season tix for 1976 Sox. That is the Gold standard for nowhere near the gold.  That said, Reinsdorf needs to turn this over to a minority owner who then fires everyone. Scrape the org off the planet.

Too early to tell if they are as bad as the 1970 team that finished at 56-106. One thing is that this team is probably the most unlikeable bunch of stiffs I’ve seen since 1952 when I became a White So

Odds they cancel Soxfest 2024 before June?

Thinking about cancelling MLB tv if this keeps up.

I cancelled the day Machado signed with SD. I've been streaming online in the years since.

Foolish me bought it again this year expecting big things.

Shoutout to T-Mobile giving it to me for free, otherwise yeah I'd be doing that too

Worst I have ever seen, but more importantly for me, it's the most disappointing. Found myself, as a fan of this team, wanting them to literally trade away everyone. There isn't a single player on this team that I have "fan love" for anymore. Our so called "Stars" play for themselves, not for the team.

This team has no heart

exactly

Cease isn’t a star?

Out of 100 average baseball fans across the country would say Cease if you asked them "who is the ace of the White Sox?" 20?

Team is as awful as the organization

Feels similar to the responses I got from Brooks Boyer and my former rep when I voiced my disdain at the TLR hiring.  It was all hard sell responses.  Not one iota of self-reflection in the whole org.

Anderson, Jimenez, Robert, and Moncada, the centerpieces of the rebuild in the daily lineup, have all played in the same game together just 34 times over the White Sox's last 347 games, since the start of the 2021 season.

This team reminds me of their 2007 attempt to retool on the fly.  Didn’t go well

Do we count the rebuilding years too or nah since that was intentional losing? Either way, this might be the worst.

At this point I think it’s worse than the rebuilding years.

This is worse than the Fregosi era.

What the actual f***? That is like some s%*# from the Soviet Union. No, the reactor didn't explode, just a minor issue with a few burst pipes!

Hiring someone with that lack of emotional intelligence is surprising and imo it speaks to a deep rot in JR's ability to run a big organization like the Sox. I don't think 15 years ago he has such incapable marketing people in place. I believe he's lost quite a bit off his fastball, as expected in his mid 80s.

It's grim, but we are fucked until he dies. Even then, Michael has been a disaster running the Bulls so far, so even death might just prolong out misery.

4/26 Tor 8 Sox 0

10 of  last 11 Sox at bats were strike outs.

Glass half-empty - Worst Sox team ever

Glass half-full - At least they’re seeing more pitches.

This is one of those stats that looks fake, but its not.

Pathetic.

Food for thought: since the opening series, this team’s winning percentage is at a scorching 17.8%...

As has been mentioned the ‘76 was awful.  They still managed to win 10 in a row in May.  They did, however, lose something 15 of their last 16 games.  Just packed it in.

They have somehow outdone the Reds and A's for overall ineptitude and oblivious-ness to the mood of the fanbase.

Watching those early 1970s teams on fuzzy, snowy, UHF channels maybe clouds my judgement because I see this team's s%*# in high def 4k.

Literally this guy said it all. A++++ call on ESPN 1000 today

At least the suffering is roughly 30 minutes shorter this season.

Thanks, Theo Epstein!

This is where this franchise makes a stupid and futile gesture to desperately try and stay relevant. Well, maybe the farm system is so bad they won’t have an opportunity.

Has to be a poster here, right? Lol.

Berto is the hero we needed, but didn't deserve. I love that guy.

You already know where they come up with the resources for that. They go down to A ball and trade away guys they’ve barely seen, or they undervalue a guy who has made the big leagues but who has struggled because they did a crap job coaching them.

Well, there's no plans to wear shorts this season, so there's that, at least.

Benetti and Stone can't get away from this mess fast enough...Len Kasper has to be rethinking his move as well at this point.

Gordon Beckham with the full time gig over Pods or AJ or basically anyone else will be the absolute lowest point.
