Over in the NL I don't think we beat any of those guys in a World Series. The Mets have DeGod, Stroman and Walker who we aren't hitting. The Dodgers, Giants, and Padres have good pitching and can rake. The Brewers can't hit, but their pitching gives us fits. I think we can win the WS if our guys are healthy and rolling, but it may be a tall order this year. I think next year we are WS favorites. It's possible because these guys are beasts athletically, but it just seems like a lot to ask. I'd love for us to get Story to take some of that pressure off. They are going to ask him to play a new position 3. He's a .243 hitter outside of Coors 4. One simple reason: When he get's hot...he can carry a team in a big way. Catch lightning in a bottle in October and he has the star power to pull that off.
