  1. Jerry and Getz should be embarrassed by this shitshow. I’m sure they aren’t because they don’t care about Sox fans, but these two clowns deserve another 100+ loss season.
  2. We knew they would be bad but at least moving forward in the right direction. This is a regression.
  3. This makes the Peyton Pallette decision all the more perplexing.
  4. This could be one of the worst pitching staffs ever.
  5. Can we schedule the lockout for this year?

Thrilled with Schultz so far. Arguably the most important Sox thing today.

You could probably pin this thread, but I have a feeling it won’t need to be and will get plenty of action.

On pace for 135 losses so this thread deserves a bump. Bad 24 hours for rule 5 picks.
  9. If it starts to go bad on Friday, the boos are going to be loud
  10. Honestly, say what you will about coaching, moves, what have you. But f#%k these guys for the piss poor effort.
  11. On the bright side, we haven't seen him hit lefty yet.
  12. Alright I actually have work to do. See you all on friday
  13. I enjoy it. Its beats reading about how Chris Getz is a baseball genius and only hires the best people.
  14. I think the real problem is we get non stop Fathom complaining and that's the worst part of this start
  15. Five day sample sizes legit don’t matter and no one is making trades off of them

Are you all entertained by the Chris Getz experience? He continues to General Manage like he could care less about winning. I'm sure soon he will go on some podcast and gloat about the process he's putting together. TRASH GM TRASH ORGANIZATION
  18. He meant a full cooler pre and post game.
  19. Yea i'm sure Liam was prepared to run the bases in extras
  20. The team was always prepared when TLR managed
  21. Somehow we turnover entire rosters time and time again, but still end up with the same play.
  22. The General Manager did not know what side of the plate he hit from. And some didnt think that was a big deal.....as for your curiosity about overlooking a lack of arm strength.
  23. This was the period of time where we were supposed to be finding other teams overlooked players, and developing our own. I have said for a couple of years with the state of this franchise that 2030 was a realistic timeline for competing again. We haven't really done much to push that timeline forward. so that still looks pretty secure. -We needed our original Big 3 pitchers to turn into 2 frontline starters. So far we have one reliever, and 2 guys who have never been over 75ish innings in a season. -We needed all of these changes to rescue some of the guys from previous years. That hasn't happened. Guys who were uninspiring, have stayed uninspiring -We needed some scrapheap luck. Primarily we got Smith and Vasil. Smith had a great 25, but all of the sudden is looking pretty shakey. Vasil is probably gone until the middle of 27. By the time he gets back, he will be approaching his arb years. The scrapheap's we had short term success with, we haven't been able to turn into the second generation of players in the flip deals. -We needed to turn the vets we did have left into valuable pieces going forward ala Rick Hahn. The Cease trade was a disaster. The Robert trade isn't looking great, and we now pretty much have to turn the Crochet trade into Montgomery being an all-star level player to call it a win. -Looking forward some of the position draft picks look promising, but are now starting to hit the mid to high majors and we will start to learn what they are made of in the next year. -We need to hit a grand slam with this draft. The #1 pick needs to be a star going forward. We need to get premium position players in this draft as well with as many picks as he have set up early, and the savings sure to come from the #1 pick. It'd be really nice to figure out a way to add another comp pick in this draft as well. I still like my Team2030 prediction. It wasn't too long ago people were saying we could make it by 2027 or 2028.
  24. Some here were cocksure that Acuna would be the CFer this season, I guess by default. . Dude lacks basic outfield skills...same as Baldwin. Not sure why Acuna's lack of arm strength was not noted by Venable and the coaches during ST. Acuna is a butcher on defense and is not good enough to displace any player on the roster, unless he can possibly pitch. I do not enjoy being so negative about The Sox but it's time for a few heads to roll.
  25. Will not doing much of anything to show he is a longterm answer
  26. More of the same, if they are going to be this bad might as well lose 100 again and hope that 4 in a row forces changes to be made.
  27. Nothing less than an apology from Venable to the fans is acceptable for the press conference. Can't wait til Friday.
  28. Only positive about this game is it’s one day closer to Jerry no longer being owner
  29. Between getting absolute crap for Robert and sending Korey Lee down in favor of Maguire, you really have to wonder if Getz knows what the hell he is doing!
  30. This pitching staff is so bad. If you're not going to fire Getz, fire the new pitching coach.
  31. I couldn’t be less interested in that until he gets his pitch count up
  32. Also what's been problematic is Quero not exactly holding his own as the primary catcher
  33. I’ve seen enough of this trash…goodbye
  34. Beni has raked in 60 million for replacement level production over the last three seasons, starting over 400 games in that period. Don't tell me about accountability on the SS.
  35. Tray will preemptively blame Acuna, because he is short
  36. There really is no justification for keeping Getz.
  37. What this tells me is that we don't need to wish for another Skenes to fall into our laps, what we need is for the Sox to be an organization that doesn't trade away all-star or, worse yet, generational pitching talent when they either get too expensive to keep or it's time for another rebuild. Until ownership changes, no matter how successful our draft pick is, he will just become trade bait in a few years.
  38. Montgomery at 3B doesn’t bother me. Benintendi in LF is what seems dumb here as it’s a rough defensive OF with him anywhere and Peters in CF. You could play the same guys in different and have a better overall defense IMO.
  39. On top of what’s been mentioned, I’m not crazy about three LHH at 2-3-4. Made it very easy bullpen maneuvering for Miami last night.
  40. Yeah that one always didn't make sense. He looked pretty good once he went to the pen. They needed help and never tried him.
  41. Conspiracy theory - White Sox knew Paez wasn't ready, exposed him to big league hitters to broadcast that. He'll slip through waivers, then be a PTBNL in the Hicks deal.
  42. By the way, “South Side Samurai”. Cringe.
