Say what you want about Getz but he is consistant, he traded Cease, Robert Jr, and now Sosa and received nothing in return.4 points

3 pointsI want to know when he's gonna start batting from his stronger side of the plate. We need offense now. Why does he continue to work on his weak side? Getz needs to tell him it's time to show us that he's an upgrade on Luis Robert Jr. Wait, what?!3 points

A trade is with another team. Totally different. The Sox own Antonacci, his development and his plan. No one should be able to influence that but them.3 points

Still better than Bruce Levine3 points

The fact that there are any of you bemoaning the loss of Sosa shows you just how low the bar as been set for the Sox.3 points

2 pointsAcuna can't do much of anything. He can't hit. He missed a ground ball in the 6th inning which was ruled a hit. He should have been charged with an error. I wonder much longer he will be on this team. Perhaps they can trade him back to the Mets for Robert Jr.2 points

Whenever the new owner takes over he might have to rebuild everything.2 points2 points2 pointsWe will have to endure acuña all year too. Dude just sucks. If had Sosa todays lineup would have looked a little better. But trash acuña has to play 🤮🤮🤮2 points2 pointsWe came in at a .112 iso, on tick above the Mets' at .111 in dead last.2 points2 points2 points2 points2 pointsKyle Lodise has been trying a very strange strategy as a pro: the hitter who never gets any hits2 points2 points2 points2 points2 points2 pointsHeading out to grill some dogs. Vienna sport peppers and a touch of celery salt to top them off. Let's get the lead. I want a win tonight.2 points2 points2 points2 points3 guys in lineup batting over 200. Nobody is batting over .235. This is pretty much rock bottom imo.2 points2 points2 pointsPlaying defense first guys in GRF....might as well move back fences to 1970s Kauffman.2 points2 points2 pointsMan I love the hot takes. Chris Sale didn't record an out in his MLB debut look what he's done. Pitchers are notorious for being amped up in the first inning not even considering a fucking MLB debut2 points2 pointsYou guys are brutal on a pitcher with first MLB start jitters. Just relax. He’ll be alright.2 points2 pointsA young starter way too amped up and overthrowing and made a bad decision. He will be fine.2 points2 pointsNah imma continue to critique the worst franchise in NA pro sports.2 points2 pointsAAAANNNND there goes the thread.2 points2 pointsOr hear me out... the Sox could have paid Robert and Dominguez. Why you keep acting like they had to trade Robert to sign dominguez I'm not sure.2 points1 pointIt's time. I don't agree with the end of the first sentence, agree with the rest of it. I won't be looking for another team if this happens. I will just back off baseball until Jerry is gone and there is hope for the future.1 pointSosa is a better fielding third baseman and hitter than Miguel Vargas, so that should have been his position. Put Vargas at first (his strongest position) and DH Murakami (who can't exactly pick 'em), or vice versa. They could have traded Andrew Benintendi for some kid who will probably never make the majors. Better yet would be to actually improve the team now with any trades, rather than use this team as a baseball incubator.1 point1 point1 pointNever really seemed like this front office was a big fan of Sosa. Not really sure exactly how much they were gonna get for him but they didn’t really give him a chance to boost his value this season at all1 pointThere's lottery tickets like Sandlin/Mead/Acuna/Vargas/Korey Lee. And then there's this crap... It's like they're running a race to outdo Minnesota for most embarrassing AL franchise. Another Getz development win for the ages. Even the Rockies seem fairly stable for now...already matching April 2025 team victories and surpassing it before the middle of the month.1 pointPut me on record — this is stupid. Offense-starved team refuses to give a shake to a young cost-controlled player who can hit a little bit. Maybe the skeletons will suddenly fall out of the closet to make this make more sense but to me this is just Getz not liking Sosa's game on an aesthetic level and feeling unwilling to figure out how to use him.1 point1 pointYou are presenting things that haven’t even happened yet, and may not ever happen. You’re only presenting made-up guesses of the future because when all facts are considered, your argument falls apart. If Acuna keeps hitting like he has been, he’ll be on the bench.1 pointLosing Teel and Hays does not help for this lineup at all, not to mention missing Baldwin, thats 3 starting guys. We are putting 4 or 5 guys in the lineup every day who shouldn't be on a MLB roster. Other guys also regressing but hitting is contagious1 pointThis leaderboard is set to Chicago/GMT-05:00
