When you say “things must be worse than we are being led to believe,” what are you referring to? Not arguing. Genuinely curious. What’s worse than we’re led to believe…losing money, hates the losing, tired of being drug through the mud?

Peter is Hahn. Lumburg is KW. edit: I’m not sure who The Bobs are

How would they know what the motivation for the seventh game is the World Series is like if they’ve never been close? It’s a conundrum.

It’s still fun beating the Cubs.

Remillard and his glove. Awesome! ?

I’ve seen “Middleton doubled down” in a couple of places. What did he say? I can’t find it anywhere. Thanks.

You can’t dream until 1:49 a.m. on Sept. 23 this year, then you get about three months.

Bronny James goes into cardiac arrest (fortunately revived and survives ) today and Jerry Reinsdorf is as healthy as a horse. f*** the entire world!

I have to say I enjoy reading the game threads after I know the outcome. It’s comedy, despair, anger all topped off with some cynicism. Very enjoyable. I chuckle often. Thanks to all who bring it in the game threads.

Then make him hire Getz as the new NW baseball coach. Sweet dreams are made of this. Who am I to disagree…

I know Calvin’s dad pretty well. It will be fun rooting for him. I did text his dad to say it will be fun to watch his progression but I don’t trust the Sox to develop anyone! Still, good for Calvin. Good family.

I’m of the mind that Jerry West would be a better GM for this team than Rick Hahn.

Didn’t realize he was behind the plate for Rodon. He was a youngster in the ‘05 game.

You could have ended the sentence at the first “opponent.”

Seen him wipe away stuff before.

Who else is offering a live orchestra for walk up music. That’s the extra sauce we need!

I can’t wrap my head around only being 4 1/2 games out of first. It’s ridiculous.

Terrible rule. Terrible call. Good for the Sox.

I hope she didn’t DFA you!

I just looked at the standings. The Sox just finished off a three game sweep, but are still nine games under .500 yet only 5 1/2 games out of first. I’ll take “Sentences that have never before been uttered” for 400 please, Alex.

I just don’t care at the moment. I’ve watched maybe three combined innings in the month of May. I don’t know if they won or lost yesterday and who/if they play today. I only scan threads here now and haven’t posted in awhile. Not proud of any of that. It makes me a little sad. I loved the Sox. I’m going to be 60 in October. JR needs to be out, one way or the other soon. I’d like to enjoy at least one more post-season run in my lifetime. ?

For my money it’s the least likable team since last year.

Well, crap, I missed it. I turned on the basketball game and this happens.

And I hate these uniforms.
