Kelly has little to zero value. Dude is an expensive and bad reliever.
-
The Sox are back to being mired in mediocrity. It's like 2016 all over again.
-
Oscar Colas turns 25 in September. The dude isn't very good at baseball and will be out of the league soon enough.
-
It will be a push at 4 lol.

This team is going to lose 90 plus games...
LittleHurtCG replied to LittleHurtCG's topic in Pale Hose Talk
I created this thread and good thing I did take it to the sportsbook back in early April ? 90 plus losses and no playoffs for the Sox is a lock. Easiest $$$ I made all year. -
Good. No more tank jobs. Punting away a whole season only to draft guys like Nick Madrigal and Andrew Vaughn is not the way to roll. The catch lighting bottle approach and hope everything clicks is the only way forward with this organization as long as JR is owner.
-
Lmao. How much can cash considerations be for a dude like this? 25K tops?
-
The Sox half assed the rebuild and likley had no strategic plan. Hahn tried to jump on the Houston?Cubs rebuild train without realizing how inferior his organization is comapred to the rest of the league. I think you have it backwards. The odds of the rebuild succeeding and resulting in a world series and multiple deep playoff runs had almost zero odds of happening the moment Hahn and company were put in charge of the rebuild.
-
Not a chance that Hahn is fired. He might get reassigned but the guy has a job with the Sox for life. There is really nothing for Sox fans to be positive or happy about at the moment and Chuck & Ryan are smart enough to recogize that.
-
They would have signed Machado for like 5 and 150 million I'm sure but that wasn't a legit offer. The way they prolonged and publicly dragged out the supposed Machado negotions is so telling in hindsight. They sabotoged that deal on purpose and were just waiting for another serious team to swoop in and take him away.
-
They were never serious about signing Harper or Machado. It was all a dog and pony show from the get go. Hahn knew the money wouold never be spent on a premium free agent but he couldn't come out and say that publicly. Any talk of accountability for the current shitshow is all smoke and mirrors as well. No one in the front office is going to be held accountable as long as the Sox continue to turn a profit. Sox are a straight up chicken-s%*# organization and we as fans are screwed six ways from Sunday.
-
100% concerned. Seems like a similiar situation to Zach Collins. He had a hitch in his swing coming out of Miami as well. His career has turned out wonderfully..
-
Cease getting traded back to the North Side would be pretty ironic.
-
Hahn is going nowhere. The dreadful thing is that this thread will still be active 4 years from now. Hoping for change within the White Sox organization is like beating your head against the wall.

Bump. 100% a lock at this point. Hell, 100 losses is a distinct possibility if Hahn and company actually accept reality and make some trades before the deadline. -
Tony Larussa forgot more about bullpen management than Pedro Grifol will ever know about it.
-
The warning signs were there from day 1 with this dude. Rick Hahn got taken to the cleaners on the Chris Sale trade.
-
Joe Crede 2.0. Good chance Moncada is out of baseball altogether in 2 or 3 years if these back problems aren't corrected.
-
This loser answered almost every question with a first word of "look". Always be extremely skeptical of anyone who consistently begins an answer to a question with that word. They are basically implying that you cannot see things for what they truly are. Despite his previous comments, Hahn truly does think he is some sort of king and the smartest guy in the room at all times. The rest of us are merely simple minded peasants who cannot see things that he can.
-
Drafting guys in the top 5 who can barely clear the fences with a metal bat during batting practice is not something you should ever do.
-
Why did the downfall happen and could it have been avoided?
LittleHurtCG replied to Dominikk85's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Dude is not grounded in reality. He compared Moncada and Eloy to Ohthani and Trout in previous posts. That is a laughable comparison. Like comparing lake front property in Waukegan to that in Winnetka. It's also not grounded in reality to say that the Sox are anywhere close as an organization to the Astros. And let's just gloss over the fact that the Phillies made the World Series last year and are dealing with injuries of their own with studs like Harper. -
Absolutely nothing. The whole rebuild was dead on arrival because he was the architect behind it. The guy has to go before he sets the franchise back another 15 years.

Third best SS in the City of Chicago. Disappointing stuff. -
Garfein: Tim Anderson hates pitch clock, not Chicago
LittleHurtCG replied to superchops70's topic in Pale Hose Talk
It most certainly is. Who in their right minds thinks Dalls Kuechel or Dylan Cease is/were a leader of this team? Original poster was trying to work backwards to prove his point, facts be damned.
