  1. In the words of the Monkees, "I'm a believer, not a trace of doubt in my mind." The Sox future is on track to compete and succeed.
  2. Acuna can at least be a pinch runner for now until he is launched. Hicks is too wild to pitch in any close game; he is a mop up man for blowouts.
  3. The Yerminator was fun for a while until Tony LaRussa was a buzz kill.
  4. Besides Acuna I think the Sox have done a pretty good job so far with filling out the lineup due to injuries. The recent call ups for the bullpen have been getting it done.
  5. I agree with you on Gonzales if Vargas is indeed hurt.
  6. My biggest concern with the WBC is with pitchers. I think teams really need to continue to keep guard rails up on how they are used.
  7. Joe Rock, love the name. 6'6" high draft pick, hard throwing lefty needing a reset. Matt Thrornton comes to mind.
  8. Nice wake up this morning, White Sox winner!!
  9. I hear you, at least with the NFL mock draft I have seen the top players on tv, I don't follow College/ Prep baseball. The best #1 pick run by the Sox was '87-'90; McDowell, Ventura, Thomas, Fernandez. '20-'22 has the makings of great picks also; Crochet, Montgomery, Schultz.
  10. I don't follow college or prep baseball like Future Sox, Sox Machine, and James Fox does but I thought they were saying Roch is the #1 pick. What's the latest?
  11. I like this lady mor and more after that clip.
  12. That game was a roller coaster of highs and lows, crazy!
  13. I think shopping at the Dollar Store will end once Ishbia takes the reins. The Sox will accumulate talent not stock teams with elite playoff pitchers like jerry has done.
  14. 2028 White Sox possible infield & DH could be 120+ home runs C: Teel 1st: Vargas 2nd: Sam or Meidroth SS: Roch 3rd: Colson DH: Muni
  15. To see Montgomery & Vargas rake and also be plus defenders is a pleasure.
  16. "May the Scriff be with you"
  17. The Sox currently have depth at SS and 2nd base plus Vargas solidifying 3rd base. I could see possibly packaging some minor league infielders that will be blocked from the big club into a trade.
  18. Red Sox and Yankee fans are insufferable. Most Cub fans, not all, have a distorted perception of themselves. That is the only thing that keeps them out of the Red Sox-Yankee fan category.
  19. Sox win or lose we still have West Eddy spinning the records.
  20. I believe the Sox are headed towards becoming a solid contending team. In the meantime, I can't get enough of their youth and competitiveness, what a sheer joy to watch. I will be patient with the development and not expect instant results from all the players experiencing MLB for the first time. I heard Ben Peoples mentioned as a call up on either Future Sox or Locked on White Sox. Let's get him up here and see if he can stabilize a position in the pen.
  21. I was on the edge of my seat in the ninth with the bases loaded, whew, what a win!! Lots of big moments in the 8th for the Sox. I loved Sam getting the bunt down and then Vargas getting the job done with the sac fly.
  22. I am positively POSITIVE about the Sox, LET"S GO !!!!!
  23. If the Sox can hit on some of their own home grown pitching for bullpen help it would be a welcome addition. Come on Schwitzer, keep the line moving!! The competition for playing between the position players is awesome.
  24. Sam is looking better and better in the leadoff position.
