Probably taking after Irvin couldn't throw a strike against Vaughn. He got a real good fastball on 0-1 and fouled it back.

Could be, but given 2019 and some of the flashes we've seen I still hold out hope. A .750 OPS with good defense is a valuable player but he should be so much more.

Thinking 2019 is more the outlier and what we are seeing is the norm.  Which doesnt make him a bad player, but for a former no. 1 prospect in baseball its certainly disappointing.
