It was 11 months before I could play tennis again, I’m glad Teel doesn’t have to go through that.At this risk of doxxing myself I tore both my patella tendons at the same time playing tennis 11 years ago. I was walking in my braces 2 weeks after surgery. Surgeon asked me where my walker was at the two week follow-up, told him I only used it for a week. I did a 4.8K vertical foot backpack 14 months later and I walked around Nola on a planned vacation 6 weeks after surgery. I attacked that rehab man.

May 18May 18 Having had several hamstring issues when I was playing i always had other issues with my legs pop up while trying to compensate. I feel like this is what this is. Trying to do too much before he was ready. I feel like that false start a few weeks ago may have been too soon as well. Time for Quero to really step it up.

May 18May 18 Well, that sucks. This is not a silver lining but if the Sox are still in contention when he comes back it's like being a buyer at the deadline, without trading away a minor league prospect. Is he staying with the Charlotte team? Joining the Sox for rehab? Or just disappearing into self-rehab for a while?

Part of my recovery was so excellent is that I was basically a prestige surgery for the best in the area. If anybody IRL that knows me is reading this they got me. That said, I don't know anybody in real life that reads Soxtalk!
May 18May 18 I don't get the exercise in that post if indeed Teel was doing that after the hamstring injury. The movement seemed way too violent, stressful, and unnecessary. Nothing like resting an injured leg, at least in order to allow healing time. As far as the merits of Teel's diet and rehab., proof is in the pudding. See him around the All-Star break assuming no more tweaks and set-backs..

Austin Hays is always injured. It's why he was so cheap. I'm guessing he'll be injured again too.Maybe not be throwing in Arizona for months? Was a little weird hes hitting 100+ in February.

May 19May 19 Well, the WBC or whatever it's called took its toll on White Sox. I don't understand why Teel, who might have a smidgen of Italian blood, has to play for Team Italy. He's a freaking American. Team Italy should get Italian players to fill out their roster. I probably wouldn't publicly b**** about it if Teel did not get seriously hurt. But he did, and it was avoidable. I wonder just how much of his genetic make-up is Italian. Is it half? Is it 1/64th?

Janine Libutti is of Italian descent with family roots originating in the Potenza area of southern Italy.”
