How is this acceptable?

It is what it is, they were an inexperienced young team that played their asses off all year but in the end they weren’t good enough because of a lack of starting pitching and some missing pieces in the lineup. Hopefully those shortcomings can be filled by Getz in the off-season.

Boys, it’s do or die time tonight. I went into the home games feeling we had this series locked down, but for many reasons we failed to take advantage of a great opportunity. Attending the two home ga

Embarrassing particularly ina post season game. So much for the supposed Sox hitting strategy of swinging for the fences. total failure. Small ball would have helped us. We are the strike out kings of the year.

We did the total opposite of this in the first 4 games in the playoffs too.

Never, ever do a blackout again.

Why? They love that loser for some reason.

To be honest, Grichuk didn't look any better when he got in there.

Someone posted months ago that Cleveland knows how to finish. The Sox don’t.

It remains true from this regular season and playoffs. The Sox couldn’t hold off a mediocre team.

Sell already, Jerry.

Why can’t they win a World Series then?

Beni was 0 for 7 with 7 Ks this series lol

Truly awful way to end a magical year.

HTF can we not win 1 out of 3 games when 2 are at home?

They’re better than the Sox though

And they split 18 games with the Sox 9-9.

#2. Glorified .500 team. I want to call them inconsistent, but they never won more than 5 in a row or lost more than 4 in a row.

A good trade deadline and a legitimate starter and they win this series.

20 K's, we did it boys...we saw that 19 K effort in Game 3 and said "We can do better than that!"

It was 21 Ks not 20. In 9 innings at that.

Chase’s 1st AB in Gm3 is gonna haunt me all winter long

Got caught up trying to be a hero with the crowd amped like many of these young guys. Hopefully they learn.

We will be back. No doubt. Team still might be a year away from being a true contender. But well done guys. Great season

Because Grichuk sucks, he’s just one of the handful of guys on this team that had a horseshoe up his ass this season.

I can’t believe how many people really thought this team was good.

I don't care if this sounds harsh. I really believe the organization top to bottom is too stupid to improve.

Right... But cmon dude these approaches were bad

It really sucks. It was an embarrassing loss with the strikeouts.

That said I still feel like a lot of you are soft. “Oh no we lost in the ALDS let’s trade everyone that didn’t play well waaah”.

He was good this year but banking on a 35 year old vet to be your superstar is a bit ridiculous.

Feel bad for Burke

That's about all I've got to say or else I will dive into a long post with liberal use of putz and a heavy dose of jagoffs

21 strikeouts is embarrassing

It's good overall going forward. If there isn't a different approach to our ABs with all the Chicago and national media attention all those strikeouts will have, then they will never change philosophy or change said players who refuse/can't change their AB approach.

It is humiliating, you aren't gonna generate many scoring opportunities striking out so damn much, especially in the postseason where HRs are harder to hit facing better quality pitching.

CLE ended up with more HRs this series because they faced mediocre pitching vs the Sox hitters trying to hit HRs vs better pitching.

Anyways, get wrecked vs TB you Cleveland clowns

And Will continues to play him because of the splits. Inexplicable.

If they had the Dodgers, Rays, or Brewers farm system. They don't not even close. Look how much of this team but built by other farrm systems.

I do think we should acknowledge that Burke can and should get some ass.

He deserves it.

If they don’t try it’s because of the owner.

They just got embarrassed 3 games in a row. It’s pretty bad after a 2-0 series lead and you lose both home games.
