I’m confused as to how their power hitter can run so hard and not get hurt6 points

Huge win! Win tomorrow, get to .500, and never look back!5 points

Does he? If this is nothing, my apologies. The White Sox have conditioned me to expect the worst.5 points

I can't be the only one who sees the resemblance! Two 1st base hitting legends with the last name Vaughn. They're practically the same person.4 points

I don’t care what Vaughn is doing, I’d still rather have Mitch Keller4 points

Ehhh. He’s been really bad, but the Sox need Yoan and need him playing well if this team wants to turn this season around.4 points

They hold out the hope for Moncada probably because Hahn failed to pick up a LH impact bat. It was needed when Moncada and Grandal were healthy but theycheaped it out and went with Sheets. RH really had an horrific offseason.4 points

I think you gotta let Lopez throw the 7th here. Then go to Kelly and Graveman.3 points

Josh Harrison playing like a guy who saw Mendick swinging a hot bat, TA about to come off the IL, and did the math.3 points

The guy is 35. I don't think expecting him to hit his career average is realistic anymore.3 points

Not only is this insane, but if you truly believed that and were that outraged, I find it odd you would have over 5,700 posts on a message board devoted to a team inside Major League Baseball.3 points

And fuck off x2 for Tony. One for not standing up for his guy after that missed strike call and second for leaving Lynn in2 points

we've had dumb injuries all year, i'm not worried about some scenario where all of them are mysteriously healthy resulting in a roster crunch2 points
-
My guess is the 3.mentioned above are porcelain dolls and won’t stay healthy. At the trade deadline Hahn will be forced to make a move or 2 if we’re in contention2 points

He'd be talking about DFAing Josh Harrison right as Harrison was hitting his homer.2 points

Louis Robert if he can stay healthy will be a perennial All Star and MVP contender every year when he can play 140+ games a year and Andrew Vaughn won’t be far behind after he takes over for Abreu at 1st Base in 2023. I think Abreu has at least 1 good year, maybe 2 after this at 1st. 2023 may be a rotation of Abreu 1st Base Vaughn DH THEN flipped the next game so they both get at least 500 at bats each.2 points

The fact that Soxtalk is aware of such specificity is very alarming to me and titillating at the same time.2 points

Only on Soxtalk is the chance for TLR to give Josh Harrison more ABs a good thing.2 points

I still don't think the Sox get anywhere if Yoan and Grandal don't get back to being contributors on this team. Both are more important than Eloy at this point.2 points

I sincerely believe that we must strive mightily to win this game and more as we move ahead2 points

This is universal in all of pro sports today, players have to learn the difference between pain and injury. Mike Singletary could fight through pain and illnesss, so could Jordan. Take the hair bun who tweaks his knee and is like I’m done let me throw a ball at the grass to show my frustration but pitches with zero ill effects days later. Only to go off, using his pitching arm, to abuse products in the dugout (like the genius that he is) after he blows the game yesterday. Players are too soft, just cuz you experience pain doesn’t mean you shut it down. You fight through it like Jordan did. Either the Sox training staff is one of the worst in the past 30 years or players are too soft nowadays. What’s next, I got a hang nail and can’t pitch. Let me just brush my hair in the dugout and put it in a man bun please? Time for these players to play like men and quit wincing at the smallest form of pain. Or fire the training staff, one or the other has to happen to get anywhere.2 points

It's silly. Moncada is hurt and unavailable, yet they would rather play short for at least a week so they could possibly bring him back before 10 days. Just do the inevitable and IL him.2 points
-
Just put Yoan on the IL. They’re nuts if they think he will be fine in 24-48 hours.2 points

He meets with the media the first game of most, if not all, home stands.2 points

Can we all just agree that Yermin will get called up in time for the July 1 ~ July 3 trip to San Francisco and torch us for 8+ RBI across those 3 games, including a monster home run off of a position player on a 3-0 count with an 11-run lead?2 points

greg spends his days piling on Soxtalk and then claiming to be the victim when he gets the response he is looking for. Don't waste your energy.2 points

You realize slaves were property, had no rights, and couldn't quit. Baseball players are well paid and can leave whenever they liked. To compare the horrors and depravity of slavery to being a baseball player is disgusting.2 points

You could get a good look at a T bone by sticking your head up a butcher's ass, but wouldn't you rather take the bull's word for it?2 points
