Should have taken 2 of 3, and a sweep was actually possible. Team looks to be coming together, baby steps, but I like it.5 points

IDK if you guys saw it, but he had a 2nd ball he switched it with, he kept the HR and threw a dummy back.5 points

He stepped very awkwardly finding the bag at 1st base while covering. But don’t let that stop your narrative.4 points

Just as we all expected years ago, the top HR hitters on the White Sox are a right handed Cuban slugger and a left fielder who should be a DH!4 points

He could also be a hall of famer. Fun game we are playing currently. At the end of the day he is going to get a chance, and his career would largely be at third base more than likely.3 points

When is the last time Sox batters had 18 walks in a 3 game set? They saw almost 200 pitches in this game. Legitimately like two swings away from a series win here, and maybe 1 more away from a sweep. Former Mets Houser and Vasil combined for 9 scoreless innings in the series. Holding Soto hitless is pretty impressive for this staff overall.3 points

Usually in One game every series they kick ass. Just a liiiiittle consistency and maybe they can be taking more series. This one was possible, they just couldn’t get the deal done in the other two games late. baltimore should be interesting. Feels like the Sox could go in there and take the series with how that team has played this season.3 points

We had a very competitive series. Nice to see. Blew some games but we're a bad team. If we are going to be bad at least be competitive most of the time until the inevitable error or bad pitching performance late.3 points

Vargas was a simple fix. He already had a good approach and good pitch recognition. He then gained 20 lbs of muscle because they wanted him to drive the ball more. He was still making weak contact however so they identified something in biomechanics that they thought higher hands and flatter (horizontal ) bat pre-pitch would help. Robert is more complex. He's never had a good approach or particularly good pitch recognition which is why with so much bat speed and physical talent he can look so bad.3 points

I said weren't getting anything meaningful. I'd rather take a shot on developing some 95 mph thrower that can't hit the side of a barn over someone who has a ceiling of a banjo hitting utility guy. There's a zero chance we turn a no-hit guy into something, but there's a non-zero chance we could develop a pitcher.3 points

Great performance all around. Enjoyable watch. Nice to see Chase keep his streak alive in the 9th.2 points

a demoralized fan base.................that will be the constant under Reinsdorf maybe by 2030 fans will be use to flirting with .5002 points

They did a good job, helped by a Mets team that looked ready to get this one over with. Vargas up to a 118 wRC+ and into the top 60 or so in fWAR in MLB. He's only .1 fWAR behind Ely De La Cruz. Funny game, baseball.2 points

I was hoping for 1 win in NY so no tears, now on to Baltimore where I’d like to win at least 2. Plesac brought up how competitive the team has been, did some homework and they are 8-10 since the KC series and we could have easily won 3 games in that series. I still think they will win at least 65 games.2 points

It's not that deep bro. Why don't you just enjoy young players improving regardless of which rabbi found them. But since you're so sensitive I won't tweak ya anymore.2 points

Orioles young bats have fallen off this season while Sox hitters improve...coincidence?2 points

Taylor's defense isn't good enough that you can't replace him with one of the guys from Charlotte.2 points

Miguel Vargas is becoming a problem for MLB and I'm here for it. It's about time we see a legit prospect work out.2 points

we have a core worth giving a s%*# about last year we didn't even have that. we still suck but at least we have some guys worth rooting for.2 points

I'm sure it's a typo, and he meant to type "clear". The Sox have been getting their Thetan levels tested at a local Dianetics storefront and will most probably leave NYC "clear".2 points

Greg this is dumb even from you. I gave basic stats. 5 hits in 31 at bats. 10 of those at bats ended in strikeouts. I didn’t cite those advance stats that confuse and frighten you.2 points

Poor Rockies. Imagine setting the loss record and then only picking 10th in the very next draft. 😶2 points

You needed to sign a catcher like him for this year at the start of the season. I consider it a win you got anything for him, instead of just outright releasing him once Quero was ready.2 points
