  1. Dang, shame the game already ended
  2. Your 2026 Chicago White Sox.....We no longer suck!!! And for now, that is enough to stay in the Central race way deeper into the season than I thought. They have been way more watchable since Colson came up last season, and dare I say a fun watch lately.
  3. Braden should be promoted to AAA first. He has improved walk rate, shown awesome improvement in game power and has gotten K% down slightly under 25% finally, but we still need to see what happens to the average and K% when he hits AAA. If it spikes to over 30%, he's gonna need a couple of months to work on it further. Alot of our guys struggled with the jump from AA to AAA. Need to see what he does with it first for at least a couple months but there's a decent shot he could be in Chicago by August or September. He should be promoted to AAA tho.
  4. Meh. That was the cheapest rbi of all time.
  5. KEEP POOPING YOU IDIOT.
  6. Yoan Moncada has never been motivated in his life.
  7. Made a playoff team sweat to avoid a Sox sweep by 1 run, and it took a fluke IF single for them to do even that. On to Anaheim, a series win away from .500
  8. Dude has a career WAR of -2.7. He's had one non negative season. It's amazing he's still in the league. 6 years of trash. Best thing that happened to his career is having a big league playing dad.
  9. Padres SP has some talent but is injury riddled and is still ramping up. Put some runs up early see how long he can make it.
  10. He's afraid of us 💪, too embarrassed that he left a winner
  11. Because they don’t want to be in Bridgeport. Hope that helps.
  12. We haven’t had a right fielder in many moons and eventually Braden should be the guy, they probably should send him up to Charlotte and if he excels there then maybe a mid season call-up would be in the cards. Bottom line don’t rush him.
  13. can't sacrifice proper development for a couple of wins at the big league level Sale Crochet Carson Fulmer Vaughn Madrigal too many Sox prospects have been rushed to the big league level to cover up holes there Braden also didn't get any milb reps his draft year give this until at least June to sort itself out Hays needs at least 2 months of everyday playing time as well in order to boost his trade value...Braden is a very solid prospect but he's not Konnor Griffin either and still has to address the swing and miss aspects of his game before he feels all the pressure at the big league level to produce
  14. Getz has stated that Braden will not be promoted from AA to the major league club. As a fan, I reserve the right to disagree and I do. Antonacci earned the starting job in LF because he hits and runs and gets on base in clutch situations, and Chase is playing 2B. Tristan Peters has earned the CF job by a surprisingly wide margin. He has speed and looks natural fielding that position. He has also proven from Opening Day on that he can hit in the clutch, bunt or scratch a base hit. So that leaves RF. The default RFer right now is Hays, who is adequate, but hasn't done that much to prove that RF is his.The way the White Sox are going now, I think Braden would fit right in and provide power from both sides of the plate. Beyond RF - Sox could also use a RH DH and of course, Teel , although his return to the club seems even more uncertain as time goes by. I dream of this team with Teel and Braden in the line-up. Even more HR power.
  15. Sure would be nice to have more confidence in Taylor at this point to pitch back to back days.
  16. They have pitched Mune masterfully today. Only one pitch even close to the meat of the zone and that was a wicked changeup from Canning on the first pitch of the game. If you consistently place pitches exactly on the absolute edges of the zone like this, you'll definitely beat him. His whole deal is just assuming that pitchers won't be able to do that very consistently.
  17. He needs at least 2-3 months in AAA. There's no compelling reason to push him and screw up his development.
  18. There would be equal if not more complaining if he wasn't PH for there. There would be equal if not more complaining if...Meidroth? Peters? was batting 3. I also wish Beni was a better and/or cheaper player, but he is what he is and they are working with what they've got.
  19. They celebrated a few Ks like they just won the World Series, maybe Schiffren isn’t all that bad.
  20. I get it. Your 3 hole guy shouldn't be a "platoon bat". Or a guy with an OPS below 600.
  21. I don't know what you guys are expecting out of Anthony Kay. He gave up 3 runs in 5 innings.
  22. Realistically, you can't really complain too much about giving up 3 over 5 IP from our worst SP on the road against a good team.
  23. Kay just needs to fill innings the other two are beyond worthless
  24. Kelenic, Acuña and Kay can all go play for the alaska goldpanners. Acuña is brutal.
  25. braden up to AAA
  26. People haven't been able to s%*# on Getz for a week. Need to let it out.
  27. You guys are really crashing out for being down two and taking 2 of 3 from the Padres on the road and winning 5 in a row.
  28. What kind of contact hitter watches a perfect change up to slap hit in the zone then tries to pull an outside slider? Acuna isn't even toast he's compost.
  29. How many games are left because that’s how many they’ll be over. They’ll never lose again.
  30. Needs to be said even if the Sox don't win today. West coast road trip, perhaps the 3 biggest crowds in a 3 game series they will face all year because of the weekend dates , Padres playing well and perhaps Mune Mania. They are doing very very well with a chance for the 🧹.
  31. If they sweep I am full on going to get 2000 vibes.
  32. Romo and Teel for sure.
  33. Antonacci makes Eloy look like a gold glover.
  34. Start to believe? We don’t stop believing, remember?
  35. I thought Everton Perreria has played well?
  36. The idea is that the middle infield prospects should be athletic enough to play a good OF. Jackson Merrill. Robin Yount.
  37. Sox enter today 22nd in position player fWAR and 18th in pitching fWAR. We have reached mediocre boys!
  38. Not too shabby for a guy you once said " sucked."
  39. I have been on record that Burke has the stuff to be really good
  40. 2 points
I think you have to promote Bonemer if you want him to adjust. You say you want him to show real mastery over low level pitching, but he has a 187 WRC+. If it ain’t broke, hard for you to convince him to break it. Send him to AA where pitchers will be able to land more offspeed on the outside corner and see if he goes to the opposite field more often. It’s always gonna be a pull heavy approach like Bregman or Paredes, but he went to right more last year. He prioritized power in the offseason and so far he’s being rewarded.
  41. Run Differential is not a linear projection. Just a couple of weeks ago they led the league as having the worst RD at around -45. It is possible they continue playing good ball and we see them sustain a positive differential. That would require them to play above .500 on the year. Fingers crossed. At least we’re seeing improvement and it’s a coin flip that we have an 81 win ( give or take ) team on our hands. Either way, it’s still far too soon to say what we’re watching but I sure as f*** know it’s been more fun than anything else we have seen in the past few years.
  42. Can't wait to see Teel back. And just wait until Braden Montgomery gets called up. Easy division win.
  43. It's a good dream. It'll have to wait a bit longer. I don't think some time in June is out of the question. Maybe after the TDL. Hopefully Teel can get back in the lineup by Mid to late May .
  44. Really nice run these guys are on. First “fun” stretch in far too long.
  45. They have to show… A. ) They can play above .550 against AL Central foes and winning records against the tigers and Indians B.) The bullpens can start to hold games past the 6th inning with solidified roles past Taylor and Dominguez C.) Their rotation improves with Smith’s return, Hagen’s call up, and an addition in July D.) Additional support from youngsters like B Montgomery
