  1. If my aunt had balls she’d be my uncle. Won the series. That’s not an if. That’s a fact.
  2. Gary Peters was 26 when he won ROY. Tristan Peters is 26, he might not win the ROY, but he made the All-Star team.
  3. We were awful this whole series its a minor miracle we won 2 out of 3. Props to Fedde, Hagen, Clutch Benny and Tristan Peters.
  4. Hagen Smith gets a kudos as well. He was electric.
  5. A New York player named Ewing getting clowned by a Chicago player. A tale as old as time.
  6. We win one game in either the tigers or Guardians series and we will win the season series. That is essentially an extra game we can add to our lead
  7. I listened to today’s (8/23) game against the Mets, and it’s so much better than the Schriff experience. He doesn’t let the game breathe at all. Against the Cubs, there several times where he tried to get Stone to engage in Cubs bashing or Wrigley bashing, and Stone didn’t bite. Schriff needs to stop selling the Sox to Sox fans. We’re watching the game already. Not sure why it seems like he’s trying to convince me to be a fan. DJ was terrible (terrible!) when he started, so there is hope for Schriff, but perhaps he can listen to some games called by the best announcers and learn from how they back off and let the pictures on tv do some of the talking.
  8. I do like that in a series that the Sox hitters were not clutch at all in the slightest they managed to hit two walk off homers.
  9. I can’t remember another season with so many Sox walkoffs. Really fun year, despite being incredibly stressful. Obviously some serious negatives in this series, but a series win is a series win. Mad props to Newky, Fedde, Hagen, Benni, and Mr Peters.
  10. Don't want Robert and his attitude on this team. If he's paying attention he could have scored on that errant throwback from Rogers in the 9th. Dude is lazy.
  11. They just retired Ozzie's number.
  12. Credit to Taylor too, even though he gave up a run. He obviously didn’t have it today and kept the game tied.
  13. Taylor was a mess today but he kept it tied....that was like a Colome special.
  14. Exactly, the game is 9 innings and 27 outs.
  15. It wasn't though. The Sox could have swept the Cubs. Yet here we are. The offense needs to wake up. That's a problem for tomorrow.
  16. I know you’re making a joke but the easy answer is don’t be out. They’re tough-minded. Not the best team but it sure seems like they enjoy playing for each other and they compete like crazy. That’s good enough for me.
  17. Are you like 5 minutes behind?
  18. I predict he will gradually improve over time and be an outstanding short stop for the White Sox for a long time.
  19. It's weird. It feels like Jerry's operating the team as if he isn't selling it to Ishbia (even though we know he is). We've seen reports that he's trying to stifle Ishbia's plans for the new stadium at Amtrak. He still has hopes that he can build a stadium on the other side of the river next to the future Fire stadium. I'm not sure he'll be operating with the mindset of "this will be Ishbia's problem in the future". I also think he'll still be a cheap ass who sticks to his guns about not signing pitchers to big contracts, which we desperately need.
  20. Win the series and all is well.
  21. Have you ever played a game with an actual horse shoe actually up your ass? I have, and you can't pivot your torso like that.
  22. Peters has three walk offs, yes. Home opener. Walk vs Yankees. Today.
  23. Huge win. Mune very badly needs to break out of whatever this is.
  24. Also if a few things happen in each game all the time it could have been the other team winning. Kind of how baseball works.
  25. I don’t know how it would work with waivers, but this team could absolutely use Robert the next two months.
  26. We also could have swept it Colson waits 0.1 ms on that grand slam that barely went foul.
  27. And in many ways you could say we’ve been unlucky. I’ll fucking take it!
  28. You got the lottery numbers too?
  29. The year of Tristan Peters
  30. This fucking team man. Just when you think we're out, THEY PULL YOU BACK IN
  31. A lot of those weren't true save situations.
  32. Im really just trying to enjoy the season. It’s been very joyful, but I’m not sure I can last another month. 😂
  33. Hagen might become the first 3 true outcome pitcher.
  34. The next time they come around, Fedde doesn’t need an opener. Give Castillo the opener.
  35. remember all the reluctant Castillo defenders attempting to PR spin that one...? not many remaining
  36. Getz actually made this team worse at the TDL. All of his trades have been total failures. A solid F- deadline.
  37. they have absolutely no game plan
  38. Sox need to score first and play with a lead.
  39. Meidroth is arguably the best 2nd baseman in the AL, an argument with a lot of strong evidence supporting it . (No one else on the Sox roster you can really say that about.) Yet people on this forum continually dismiss him and want to replace him. I don’t get it.
  40. Ishbia isn’t the controlling owner you fucking lunatic.
