so is Goodwin DFAd tomorrow then?

Still unknown but it sounds like Robert needed a few more AB's and he'd be ready.  We don't play tomorrow so maybe Robert up on Tuesday hopefully.  No way they carry like 9 or 10 guys that play the outfield.

Keep asking for his DFA, you puds.

Im generally very positive Sox fan…but that home run doesn’t change the fact that he’s close to playable in the OF and has cost the some NUMEROUS times with terrible defense. But he’s got some pop and can hit righties and that’s something this team sorely lacks. It’s not his fault this team is so banged up. He’s also not very good. But he’s gonna stay around, and hopefully he starts catching the ball.

This team os so fun to watch right now.

I mean, if you only watched the 9th, sure.

It's never fun to watch an offense struggle. Especially when you know it can be better.

will suck to see him gone, his HR pop seems to come easy for him, something this lineup lacks desperately.  sucks that we have DH locked up, but like you said, nowhere to play him and he's far below Engel and BH defensively

It's a long season. They're going to go through ups and downs, especially with being down 3 major bats in the lineup.

You know what is fun to watch? Fantastic pitching. Pitching wins ballgames. Winning ulitmately is what matters. They win. Winning is fun.

We are 2-1 since our reinforcements began showing up. We’re perfectly fine

Of course he’s not the perfect player, he was already let go once by a team this season. He has serious warts. But given how banged up the Sox are, and given some of the big moments he’s provided…calling for him to be DFA’d is dumb.

My player of the game is Lopez.  Pitched like he wasn't afraid and with a decent pace.  He could help a lot in the early inning relief appearances.

Lopez's stuff looked amazing today. He was hitting 97-98 and dotting it right on the corners against Ramirez and Reyes. If a relief role is going to make him useful, then by all means, keep him there. I think it would be beneficial for him to take over after Keuchel goes 2 times around the order. He basically takes Kopech's old role of throwing the 6th and 7th when the starter can't go that far.

He’s earned a right to be a part of this despite not being as good as people want. Major League sports is cold, but it doesn’t need to be that cold.
