Except both of these things can be true: 1) Tony La Russa was absolutely overmatched as a manager and made poor decisions throughout his Sox tenure that limited this team AND 2) Rick Hahn sucks at drafting and sucks at acquiring talent and this group doesn’t play well together and is talented but doesn’t know how to live up to it. 8 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I think calling this group talented, at this point in time is a stretch. The sample size is good enough for me, this is a very average collection of players assembled.
